(WXYZ) — A dramatic deer rescue caught on video shows officers in Michigan save a buck trapped in a net.Officers Thomas Goodrose and Justin Wells came face-to-face with a 10-point buck trapped in the net of a soccer goal at Bingham Farms Elementary on Monday morning.Noticing how panicked the deer was, the quick-thinking officers used a tool from their vehicle to help control the deer's legs while cutting netting that had started to close around the animal's neck. “Once he had it secure, we came up slow. Held the horn and heard it breathe and relax,” said Officer Thomas Goodrose with Franklin police. “It felt really good. You don’t come across this too much but it was really cool.”In the video, you can see the deer realize the netting is no longer attached, and run back into the wilderness. (SAN DIEGO) KGTV -- New records released show police responded to the home of the man that injured two police officers dozens of times in the past. On June 23rd, police responded to a disturbance call at the Rolando Court condo. When they smelled smoke, they called firefighters to the scene. Officers knocked on the front door for more than 20 minutes but received no response, officials said. Firefighters forced entry into the home. That’s when firefighters and officers were met with gunfire. Two officers were shot.The man inside the condo, Joe Darwish, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Following the June 23rd shooting, Team 10 requested details regarding the number of times police responded to Darwish's address, but they were not released until after the investigation was over. The officers were cleared of any wrongdoing.Documents show that since 2013, there were 31 calls for service to Darwish's address before the night of the shooting. More than half were 5150 calls, where officers checked on the individual’s mental wellbeing. Nine calls were for disturbances, some with violence. In February 2016, there was one call listed as “CCCC,” which police say describes a chronic caller to the department. The records also revealed police were at the home eight days before the shooting for another disturbance call with potential violence. Darwish did have a criminal history and was not supposed to own any weapons. 1443

According to AAA, most travelers book flights for Thanksgiving between September 25 and October 27 and between October 26 and November 27 for Christmas “Holiday travelers should make their plans now and begin booking their flights for Thanksgiving and Christmas as early as Wednesday, Sept. 25 for the best deals and availability,” said Paula Twidale, vice president, AAA Travel. Thanksgiving TravelAAA says this year, travelers can find some of the best pricing sever to 13 days before Thanksgiving, between November 11 and 17. The site says, however, that limited availability makes seats hard to come by at the discounted rates. Flying Monday of Thanksgiving week is the best option with the lowest average ticket price, according to AAA. Christmas TravelFor Christmas, AAA found that booking flights between 61 to 90 days before the holiday, or between September 26 and October 27, is best. Last-minute Christmas travelers can find the best pricing between seven to 13 days before the holiday, according to AAA. However, much like Thanksgiving, availability is likely to be limited. “Procrastinating travelers may be able to find last-minute deals on flights close to the holidays, as airlines look to fill their last few remaining seats, but flight availability for these peak travel weeks will be very limited by that time," Twidale continued. 1492
