SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 17-year-old boy who was allegedly behind the wheel during a solo-vehicle crash in Mission Valley that killed two teenage passengers and injured two others pleaded not guilty to multiple charges Thursday during an arraignment conducted at a Hillcrest hospital room.The unidentified teen was allegedly driving a 2008 BMW that veered off a freeway off-ramp and caught fire around 3:15 a.m. Saturday, killing two 15-year-old boys, according to the California Highway Patrol. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A convicted rapist wanted in New York for violating his parole by leaving the state pleaded not guilty Monday in a San Diego courtroom to burglary charges. Dale Dulac, 57, faces charges in San Diego of auto burglary and possession of stolen property, according to the District Attorney's Office. Dulac is being held on 0,000 bail for the San Diego charges, said George Modlin, deputy district attorney. But he also remains jailed as a fugitive from New York, where authorities say he violated the terms of his parole on Sept. 20 by leaving the state. San Diego police arrested Dulac Friday after officers recognized him walking in the 1500 block of Imperial Avenue. New York authorities said last week that Dulac had been spotted at a San Diego bus station and in San Marcos. According to media reports out of New York, Dulac was released on parole in 2015. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 69-year-old man was hospitalized this morning with a broken leg he sustained in a hit-and-run crash in the Teralta West neighborhood.The pedestrian was crossing northbound at the intersection of Orange and Central avenues at 10:15 p.m. Friday when a vehicle driving east on Orange Avenue turned north onto Central Avenue and struck the man, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.The vehicle backed up after the crash, then drove away west on Orange Avenue, Heims said.The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, Heims said.The suspect vehicle was described as a light-colored, 4-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac G6 or similar vehicle.
