WEST HOMESTEAD, Pa (AP) — After five months of being closed due to the coronavirus, the major movie theaters chains in the U.S. are starting to reopen. AP Film Writer Lindsey Bahr visited the AMC Waterfront 22 in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh, on its opening day Thursday. It is one of 113 AMC locations to open nationwide, touting retro movies and retro pricing and strict sanitary policies to entice audiences back to theaters. WASHINGTON, D.C. (KGTV) -- Starting January 1, a new federal rule requires hospitals to post a list of prices online, detailing the services they provide, according to KRON. The new law forces hospitals to post prices for every item and service they provide. According to KRON, hospitals have hidden that information from the public in the past, claiming it’s proprietary information or would confuse people. Few hospitals around the country post a small list of prices while others require patients to contact their healthcare provider or speak with someone in billing. Hospitals warn that the prices listed will likely vary from the actual prices charged to customers due to rates negotiated with insurance companies. 729

WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. — Searing pain and immediate swelling were the first signs that 6-year-old Kyden Debyah needed immediate medical attention.While playing in his backyard Monday morning, Kyden said he felt what he thought was a bee sting his right foot near his big toe. Then his mom saw a snake coiled up underneath the tire swing Kyden was about to get on.“I heard him scream 'My leg, my leg,'” Amber Debyah said. Debyah called 911 and grabbed a rake to kill the snake. By the time she came back she said she knew it was bad.“His foot was double the size. It was really hot, red,” Debyah said.First responders told her to try and get the snake so they could identify it and figure out what type of antivenin he needed. First responders brought the dead snake to the emergency room and doctors began administering antivenin for a pygmy rattlesnake bite. In all, Kyden got 18 vials before the swelling subsided and his symptoms started to go away.  The entire time Debyah worried if her son would lose his leg or worse.“I really feel he got lucky after reading other people's stories,” Debyah said. “I feel like if it would have bit him fully with both fangs, it would’ve been a lot worse.”Only one fang injected venom into Kyden’s body. “He was in great spirits the whole time. He was laughing and joking I mean other than the pain in his foot he had no symptoms, no fever, no vomiting. Normal Kyden, except for the pain,” Debyah said.  Kyden might have a low-grade fever, sore joints, rashes, but nothing that will cause permanent damage, Debyah said. Each vial of antivenin costs around ,000. WASHINGTON, D.C. (KGTV) - San Diego Congressman Duncan Hunter showed Wednesday video and photographs at the center of a Navy SEAL war crimes investigation to members of Congress. Chief Eddie Gallagher is accused of murdering an ISIS soldier and shooting Iraqi civilians in 2017. Prosecutors say Gallagher killed the unarmed Islamic State prisoner, and tried to kill an elderly man and a 12-year-old girl. Gallagher was arrested on war crimes charges last fall. “I think Eddie needs his day in court,” Hunter said after a Capitol Hill meeting Tuesday. “This is the smoking gun and there’s no gun whatsoever,” Hunter said. Hunter said he shared video indicated the ISIS soldier was injured in the U.S. government bombing of a building and interrogated by the Iraqi military before being turned over to Navy SEALS. Gallagher performed first aid on the ISIS soldier, one of the representatives said. “I don’t trust the Navy to give him a fair trial. With all the focus on this case, he stands more of a chance of getting a fair trial now than he would have if we had not brought to light what I think are all the injustices against him to this point,” said Hunter.
