As the number of coronavirus cases continues to climb around the world and disrupts the travel industry, Princess Cruises has announced cancellation of early 2021 trips.“Due to restrictions and limitations with border and port access determined by government and health authorities and the continued uncertainty of airline travel,” Princess Cruises canceled about 30 voyages on two ships.The Island Princess, which stopped at ports around the world, and Pacific Princess, that sailed around South America and Australia, will not set sail until at least April, according to a release from the company.The cancelled voyages include a 111-day around-the-world from Los Angeles.Princess Cruises, which is owned by Carnival, is offering refunds or credit for a future cruise.Carnival Cruises has also canceled some 2021 voyages, and likely won’t return to full capacity until 2022.The cruise company is facing legal action for their handling of passengers when the coronavirus pandemic started this spring. Two lawsuits allege Princess Cruises did not act fast enough to impose quarantines when cases were discovered.When the lawsuits were filed in June, Princess Cruises told USA Today “our response throughout this process has focused on the well-being of our guests and crew within the parameters dictated to us by the government agencies involved and the evolving medical understanding of this new illness.” 1414

Attorney General Jeff Sessions' private attorney said Wednesday that the attorney general is not under investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller's office for perjury related to statements made at his confirmation hearing.In response to?an ABC News report saying that now-dismissed FBI official Andrew McCabe had authorized an investigation into whether Sessions lied to Congress about his contacts with a top Russian diplomat, attorney Chuck Cooper said Mueller's office has informed him that Sessions is not being investigated over his testimony."The special counsel's office has informed me that after interviewing the Attorney General and conducting additional investigation, the Attorney General is not under investigation for false statements or perjury in his confirmation hearing testimony and related written submissions to Congress," Cooper said in a statement to CNN.The special counsel's office declined to comment.A source close to Sessions said he was not aware of any investigation into possible perjury when McCabe was fired last week.CNN reported in January that Sessions was questioned for several hours by Mueller's team as part of the investigation into Russian election meddling and any possible collusion with President Donald Trump's team. A source familiar with the matter told CNN that Cooper was unaware of any possible perjury investigation related to Sessions before it was revealed by the ABC report.Sessions has repeatedly said that he didn't mislead senators or lie under oath.Vermont Democratic Sen. As more people turn to ketamine infusions to treat depression, researchers issue a new warning, comparing the drug to opioids.The infusions are offered at clinics located across the country. Scientists believe ketamine may treat symptoms of depression by blocking receptors on the brain.At Florida’s Ketamine Health Centers, clinical director May Nunez says they've seen an 85 percent success rate.“A lot of our patients come in, and they are highly suicidal. They are very treatment resistant,” explains Nunez. “They're experiencing high levels of depression. They have one infusion administered, and they come out. I'm basically looking at those symptoms are gone.”But new research from Stanford University is raising questions about using the drug over a long period of time.When patients in the study took an opioid blocker, researchers said their symptoms didn't improve, suggesting ketamine has to activate opioid receptors before treating depression.Researchers say that doesn't mean you shouldn't use ketamine, but instead, that more studies need to be done to fully understand ketamine before it's widely used in the long-term.Nunez says the side effects she's seen have been minimal.“So, what I always tell the patients is, you know, you're not going to get worse,” says Nunez. “You're either going to be in remission, sore or you're simply not going to respond.” 1386

Parmar.Parmar, who is Indian American, says he's disappointed with the punishment and that he believes his race affected how Henderson treated him.His attorney has said he plans to file a federal lawsuit against the city.In a June interview, Parmar told Scripps station KMGH in Denver that he wants to see reforms made in the Aurora Police Department.He said on March 1 that he was moving Boy Scout gear from the Mango House — a shared space for refugees and asylees — to another property, when he noticed a police car parked in his ground-level garage, partially blocking the exit. Pamar said he honked his car.Pamar then claims the officer jumped out of the vehicle, swore at him and pulled out a gun as he ran toward the car.Pamar then started recording the interaction on his phone. It shows Pamar asking Henderson to leave his property."No, I'm going to figure out whose property this is first," Henderson said.At one point, Parmar said Henderson pointed a gun at his face."The gun pointed at me — it was scary, but it's not what hurt the most," Parmar said in June.
