SEDGWICK, Colo. – A man suspected of killing three members of a Kentucky family who were found dead Monday was arrested Monday afternoon near a small town in northeast Colorado.Edward Siddens, was arrested around 4:20 p.m. in Sedgwick, Colorado, which is just south and west of borders with Nebraska.He was wanted by Kentucky State Police out of Allen County, Kentucky. In connection to the deaths of Jimmy Siddens, his wife, Helen Siddens, and their son, Jimmy Siddens II. It's unclear how Edward Siddens might be related to the deceased.According to Kentucky authorities and local media reports, a county water employee was checking the family’s meter Monday and found two bodies on the ground. Authorities found another body nearby.The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office says it was notified shortly after 4 p.m. Monday that Siddens as in the county.Siddens was believed to have been driving a stolen vehicle when he was found by deputies in the town of Sedgwick. The sheriff’s office says deputies were involved in a “short low speed pursuit” with Siddens before he was arrested without incident.The sheriff’s office confirmed that Siddens was the man arrested Monday, and said it was working with Kentucky state police. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — A grandfather accused in the fatal fall of his young granddaughter from an 11th-story window of a cruise ship docked in Puerto Rico last year has pleaded guilty to negligent homicide.Salvatore Anello of Valparaiso, Indiana, earlier said he would drop a not-guilty plea to help end what he called “this nightmare" for his family.Chloe Wiegand, an 18-month-old, slipped from Anello’s grasp and fell about 150 feet from an open window of Royal Caribbean Cruises’ Freedom of the Seas ship in July 2019.Anello, 51, has repeatedly said he is colorblind and did not know the window in the children's play area was open when he lifted Chloe up so she could bang on the glass, WRTV reports.Chloe's parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Royal Caribbean Cruises in December 2019, claiming the company violated industry standards by failing to provide reasonably safe windows in an area where children play on the ship.In response, Royal Caribbean filed court documents alleging that Anello was “unquestionably aware” that the window was open because video shows him leaning out of it right before he picked Chloe up and dangled her from it.The documents filed by Royal Caribbean claim Anello's actions were captured on two separate video surveillance cameras, which were previously unreleased. (KGTV) - Months after the massive Equifax data breach, a North County couple got some heart-dropping news from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).    Jennifer, who asked 10News not to identify her full name, says her accountant was just about to e-file her taxes when she got the letter from the IRS."It said we needed to verify that we filed, and if we had not filed, we had to call them immediately to tell them we hadn't filed," said Jennifer.RELATED: Equifax finds additional 2.4 million impacted by 2017 breachIn short, someone had already filed in her name, raising the suspicions of IRS employees.    "You feel violated. (KGTV) - After seven years of planning and more than a year of construction, Mast Park in Santee is almost ready to reopen.The new park features all modern technology and brand new amenities, but planners wanted to make sure it kept its original feel of being surrounded by nature."If you think of Santee's parks along the river as a string of pearls, this one was the oldest and needed some polishing," says Bill Maertz, the City of Santee's Director of Community Services."We've kept the feel of the natural park," he adds. "So we have a brand new park here, but we've got 100-year-old trees here."The park's new features include three picnic shelters, a larger parking lot with electric car charging stations, three larger dog parks, a nature discovery play area, a forest-themed playground, a new basketball court, and an enhanced disc golf course.There are also more than 100 new trees planted throughout the 80-acre park, as well as native and drought-resistant landscaping."A portion of the park is part of the San Diego River Trail. So we wanted to keep that natural experience along the river," says Maertz.Multiple public meetings also showed that the community wanted to help kids build a connection to nature through the park."Children have a nature deficit disorder, there's too much time with screens, TVs and stuff," says Maertz. "So, we're trying to get them reconnected back to nature."The park will also have an active storm-water drainage system that runs through it like a river. Water runoff from nearby apartment complexes and businesses will filter through the park, with natural elements helping to clean it and block debris and trash from entering the San Diego River. The city built 12 bridges in the park to let people walk over the runoff areas like they're walking through a forest."The only reason we have 12 bridges is that we didn't have room for 13," jokes Maertz.The park will also have new bathrooms and a concession stand. SEATTLE (AP) — Cookware and kitchen chain Sur La Table is closing 56 of its 121 stores as it seeks bankruptcy protection, the latest retail casualty of the coronavirus pandemic. The privately-held Seattle-based company says it has agreed to sell its remaining stores to affiliates of Fortress Investment Group following the bankruptcy procedure and store closures. “This sale process will result in a revitalized Sur La Table, positioned to thrive in a post-COVID-19 retail environment," CEO Jason Goldberger said in the press release. "Sur La Table will have a balance sheet and retail footprint optimized to position the Company for a bright future that continues our nearly 50-year tradition of offering high-quality cooking products and experiences to our customers.”The post-sale company will also include its in-person and online cooking classes and its e-commerce business.
