FORT MYERS, Fla. —A man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to set a Planned Parenthood on fire in Fort Myers, Florida.The Lee County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that Everett Little was taken into custody after a search warrant was served at his home.The 20-year-old man is being charged with arson, criminal mischief, and using an incendiary device.Officers believe Little committed arson at the facility on Commerce Park Drive on Oct. 10.The act was caught on surveillance cameras and law enforcement distributed the photos of the suspect, asking the public for help locating him.In the end, authorities said they identified Little thanks to the community’s help."That act was caught on camera, and through Crime Stoppers, he's behind bars," said Sheriff Carmine Marceno in a statement on Facebook. Five days after the tragic bus crash in Saskatchewan, Canada involving a junior hockey team's bus, the team's trainer, Dayna Brons, died on Wednesday as result of her injuries. Brons, 25, became the 16th confirmed fatality from Friday's bus crash involving the Humboldt Broncos. "Dayna will be forever remembered for her joyful smile, and her passion and love of sport," her family said in a statement.The team was traveling from Humboldt to its playoff game in Nipawin, Saskatchewan when a semi-trailer plowed into the bus, which carried 29 people. TSN reported that as of Wednesday, 10 people remain hospitalized from last week's crash.The Broncos play in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, which is made up of players aged 16 to 21, who compete at junior hockey's second-highest level. Also on Wednesday, the league opted to continue with its playoffs. Nipawin, which held a 3-1 series lead over Humboldt, will advance to the league finals to take on Estevan. Fewer women are scheduling mammograms due to COVID-19 fears, according to a local doctor.At TriStar Summit Medical Center, Dr. Rhonda Halcomb with Centennial Women’s group, said they’re being careful.“From the time that you check in here, patients are pre-screened and screened, we provide masks and hand sanitizer here in the building, and here in the office," said Halcomb.Even though we’re in the middle of a pandemic, she said routine mammograms are still important.“Breast cancer, in general, is the number one cancer in women.”She’s sad that fewer people are showing up, or postponing their routine checks.“It breaks my heart in general that people are scared to take care of themselves,” Dr. Halcomb said.First hand, she has seen how mammograms can save lives.“Breast cancer to me has affected several of my family members. Florida prosecutors have charged a Miami police officer they say tried to kick a suspect who was being handcuffed on the ground, in an encounter captured on video.Mario Figueroa, a two-year veteran of the force, was charged Tuesday with assault, a second-degree misdemeanor, after the cell phone video of the incident surfaced last week."Officer Mario Figueroa can have no excuse for the alleged actions seen on the initial videotape," State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said in a new release.
