(AP) — Fire investigators looking into what caused a wildfire that killed four people in far Northern California have taken possession of equipment belonging to Pacific Gas and Electric. PG&E says in a filing Friday with the Public Utilities Commission that investigators with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection seized some of its electrical equipment near where the Zogg Fire started Sept. 27. The fire erupted in Shasta County during high winds and quickly grew, killing four people in the community of Igo, population 600. It later spread to neighboring Tehama County. 623

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Police in San Francisco made a horrifying discovery after a man was reported missing.According to KRON, police found the remains of a headless torso in a fish tank inside a San Francisco home.Neighbors hadn’t seen the homeowner in months and police were called to the home in July to do a wellness check, but men inside the home said the homeowner was simply on vacation.After returning to the house, police found the remains they say were so badly decomposed, they couldn't tell whether the victim was a man or a woman. One man was arrested in the case, but charges have yet to be filed. 626

(KGTV) - Police are trying to determine if the gun in the officer-involved shooting was registered to the shooter.Around 1:30 Wednesday, police were called to a mobile home park in San Ysidro after getting reports of a man carrying a large gun. She said he was saying he had already shot his woman. No women were injured in the incident.Before police killed him, he shot an RV with five children inside leaving bullet holes on the front. Neighbors say luckily no one was killed. One neighbor reported getting under her table during the gunfire. The name of the man police shot and killed hasn’t been released. 10News talked to his sons today. One of them said they didn’t want to talk about their dad, but that their mom was doing okay and they are not mad at police for shooting their father. SANTEE (CNS) - One person was found dead at the scene of an apparent single-vehicle crash this morning.A car was found off the roadway just before 8 a.m. near the 11400 block of Woodside Avenue, San Diego County Sheriff's Lt. Dave Perkins said.Details were scant, but Perkins said deputies found a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Ashleigh Hanson, inside the car who appeared to have died of injuries sustained in a crash.It's unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash or if whether played a role. 537
