(KGTV) — Sheriff's deputies asked the public for help Wednesday to locate an East County man who disappeared from an assisted living facility.SDSO says 74-year-old Stan Neff was last seen just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the facility in the 8900 block of Troy Street in Spring Valley. He may have walked out through a side door.Neff has dementia and tires easily, deputies say. He is described as a white male, weighing about 140 pounds, 5-foot 8-inches tall, and with gray hair. Neff was last seen wearing a blue plaid button-up shirt or white t-shirt, khaki pants, and one loafer shoe and one sandal. He wears wire-rimmed glasses and uses a silver cane with a black handle to travel.Anyone with information on Neff's whereabouts is asked to call the SDSO at 858-565-5200. 913

(CNS) - Felony charges were filed Tuesday against a woman who allegedly tried to snatch NFL legend Joe Montana's 9-month-old granddaughter from a Malibu home.Sodsai Predpring Dalzell, 39, is set to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in a Van Nuys courtroom on charges of attempted kidnapping and first-degree residential burglary with a person present, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.Montana flagged down deputies from the sheriff's Lost Hills station about 5 p.m. Saturday. He told them his 9-month-old grandchild had been sleeping in a playpen in the living room when an unknown woman entered the home in the 22100 block of Pacific Coast Highway, removed the baby and walked upstairs with the child in her arms."Mr. Montana and his wife Jennifer confronted the female, attempted to de-escalate the situation and asked for the suspect to give back their grandchild. A tussle ensued, and Mrs. Montana was able to safely pry the child out of the suspect's arms," according to a sheriff's statement.Deputies found Dalzell nearby and arrested her. She's being held in lieu of 0,000 bail.The 64-year-old Montana tweeted about the incident Sunday afternoon, saying, "Thank you to everyone who has reached out. TUCSON, AZ - The United States Customs and Border Patrol says several agents were assaulted in two different incidents on Tuesday.Both incidents happened near the border, west of Tucson.In the first incident, agents were attempting to stop a human smuggling operation involving four male suspects. During the arrest attempt, one of the men became combative, according to Border Patrol.The 25-year-old Guatemalan national allegedly threw dirt at an agent’s face and swung a belt with a large buckle on it at an agent. After being taken into custody, the suspect also allegedly spit in an agent’s face.The three other suspects, including two illegal aliens and an Arizona man, were also arrested.In the second incident, Border Patrol says an agent was assaulted while attempting to arrest an illegal alien west of Three Points. The agent and a canine partner tracked the 36-year-old Guatemalan national into a desolate desert area. The man became combative and hit the agent several times, according to Border Patrol. The agent eventually took the man into custody. The suspect involved in the second assault was previously removed from the country in May for immigration violations. One agent was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and has been released.Border Patrol did not indicate which incident that agent was involved in. 1360
VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) -- The owner of a Valley Center pizza shop was arrested for alleged sexual battery, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. According to the Department, Mark Desimone, the owner of Pizza Pazza was arrested on September 5 for multiple counts of sexual battery. The department says the arrest stems from an investigation by detectives in Valley Center. According to investigators, the incidents occurred at Pizza Pazza at an unspecified time.
