When the pastor of their church unexpectedly stepped down, Roman felt called to take on the responsibility.She remembers him as a loving husband, father and grandfather."It's going to be very hard without him. Grace Sibley.When officers arrived, they saw a man running from the location and into a second building. The people inside were able to get out before the suspect barricaded himself.Sibley said the suspect had tried to rob the first business but fled after realizing that there were still employees inside.IMPD crisis negotiators and SWAT team members secured the area. After an hours-long standoff, the suspect became agitated and pointed a gun at officers, Sibley said. Officers then shot the suspect.The suspect was taken into custody and rushed to St. Vincent Hospital in serious condition, but is expected to survive. No officers were injured in the shooting.Roads in the area were closed during the standoff, which lasted several hours.The incident remains under investigation. "Vitamin D, when consumed at very high levels, can lead to serious health issues in dogs including renal dysfunction. Pet parents with dogs who have consumed any of the products listed and are exhibiting any of these signs should contact their veterinarian."The original recall came after a complaint was made about a dog exhibiting signs of vitamin D toxicity as a result of eating a Hill's Pet Nutrition product.
