We will make more solid efforts to boost economic development and deepen reform and opening-up. We will take more initiatives to unleash the creativity and ingenuity of the people, be more effective in safeguarding equity and social justice, raise people's living standards and make sure that China's economic and social development are both sound and stable.

Li said China would like to see the two countries enjoy mutual respect, treat each other as equals, support each other, deepen friendship and cooperation and promote common development.

He urged substantial progress in building a railroad connecting South America's Pacific and Atlantic coasts as well as enhanced industrial chain cooperation in clean energy, iron ore and agriculture.

Xi congratulated Karimov on his reelection as the head of state of Uzbekistan, and voiced the confidence that under Karimov's leadership the Uzbek people will continue to make more progress in their country's construction, development and revitalization.
