According to police, the crash happened on Reagan Road near Calico Street before 6:30 p.m. Police say the 12-year-old was taken to the hospital with major head injuries. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego police are searching for a woman they have identified as a person of interest in a recent homicide case in the Talmadge area.Police believe 25-year-old Sheila Camarena may be linked to a deadly shooting that occurred on Sept. 18, in the 4400 block of Euclid Avenue.According to police, in the early morning hours of Sept. 18, officers responded to a reported shooting in which a 33-year-old Black man was injured.The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by police as Mychael Farve.A witness said the suspected shooter may have fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, but police did not verify the witness’ statement.Camarena is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 170 pounds. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police released a composite sketch Tuesday in the search for a man suspected of trying to kidnap a 3-year-old girl in the Morena area. The incident happened Sunday about 4:30 p.m. as the girl’s mother was taking her daughter for a walk in her wagon on Savannah Street at Buenos Avenue, police said. The area is residential and two blocks away from busy Morena Boulevard. A man parked his sedan but left the engine running, then approached the mother and child from behind, according to investigators. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County has seen possible early signs of a COVID-19 resurgence, after four community outbreaks were reported Friday.Dr. Wilma Wooten, the county's public health officer, said the county has recorded four community coronavirus outbreaks in the last seven days.One of the newly reported outbreaks included an unnamed restaurant. That outbreak remains under investigation, Wooten added."We had only about three community outbreaks in the month of May," Wooten said.Of the county's 56 active outbreaks, 13 are in the community setting, which have included office buildings, churches, parties, and "unauthorized weddings" in the past.One of San Diego County's 13 triggers which could cause the county to reverse loosened restrictions includes seven community outbreaks in a week.
