Now that just about everyone's got 280 characters to work with, more people say they're frustrated or confused by the decision. Others are using new characters to make jokes. Other people were curious about how the new parameters will change the way people interact on the platform.The big question on everyone's mind is how President Donald Trump, an avid Twitter user, will use the expanded space. The president tweeted two messages Tuesday that went beyond the old 140 character limit.But another Trump doesn't appear to like the change. Tropical Storm Jose has strengthened back into a hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center.The storm, which could bring rain and wind to the northeastern United States later this week. It had maximum sustained winds of nearly 80 mph and was 550 miles southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, early Saturday, according to the hurricane center.Jose remains out in the Atlantic Ocean and is moving toward the northwest, and that motion will bring it closer to the United States through the weekend. Just how far it moves west before turning to the north will tell forecasters a great deal about the likelihood of whether it will make landfall somewhere along the eastern US coastline. 704

Utah Sen. Mike Lee announced Friday that he has tested positive for COVID-19.In a statement released on Twitter, Lee says he experienced symptoms Thursday morning and took a test on the advice of doctors. The Senator says his symptoms are "consistent with longtime allergies."The announcement comes just hours after the news that President Trump and the First Lady had also tested positive for the coronavirus.On Tuesday, Lee met with Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. The two sat in chairs that were distanced several feet apart but took a photo before the meeting in which they were closer together. He also spoke to reporters after the meeting, removing his mask in front of the cameras as most lawmakers generally do.According to NBC News, Barrett tested negative for COVID-19.
