LONG BEACH (CNS) - A crane toppled over and struck a house in Long Beach Monday, injuring a homeowner who was hit by debris.Crews were working on overhead lines about 12:30 p.m. in the 300 block of 61st Street when the crane fell between two houses, striking the rear portion of one of the homes, according to Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Jack Crabtree.The injured homeowner, who had been working outside when the crane fell, was conscious and in stable condition when taken to a hospital, the captain said.The street was closed between Elm and DeForest avenues as crews worked to dismantle the crane. 613

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul and Jamie Buchman are picking up where they left off 20 years ago on "Mad About You."On-demand service Spectrum Originals said Wednesday a limited series will bring Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser back as the New York City couple.The original series, which aired from 1992 to 1999, followed the Buchmans as newlyweds through early parenthood.The sequel will explore modern marriage from the perspective of empty nesters, Spectrum said. LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Adult film star Ron Jeremy pleaded not guilty Monday to 20 additional rape and other sexual assault charges involving 12 more women and a teenage girl in attacks dating back to 2004, bringing the number of his alleged victims to 17.In June, Jeremy, 67, entered a not guilty plea in response to allegations that he raped three women and sexually assaulted another in separate attacks going back to 2014.The District Attorney's Office amended the complaint Monday against the defendant -- whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt -- to include a total of eight forcible rapes and lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl, among other counts.Jeremy is being held in lieu of .6 million bail, despite an earlier defense request to lower the amount, and was ordered back to court Oct. 28, when a date is expected to be set for a preliminary hearing.If convicted on all counts, the porn star could face up to 250 years to life in prison.Prosecutors said the victims range in age from 15 to 54 and that the teen was assaulted at a party she attended in Santa Clarita. The most recent allegation was made by a 21-year-old woman who alleged that Jeremy sexually assaulted her on New Year's Day outside a business in Hollywood.A half-dozen of the other alleged assaults happened inside a West Hollywood bar the defendant frequented and another took place in the bar's parking lot, according to prosecutors.The defendant is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman at a home in West Hollywood in May 2014. LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Authorities say they have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies as they sat in their squad car.District Attorney Jackie Lacy on Wednesday says attempted murder charges have been filed against 36-year-old Deonte Lee Murray. He was arrested two weeks ago in connection with a separate carjacking.The deputies suffered critical wounds in the Sept. 12 shooting which was recorded by surveillance video.They have since been released from the hospital and are recovering at home. 555
