A prayer rally was held over the weekend for a 33-year-old man who died after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies in a Southern California grocery store.The man, Ernie Serrano, was at the store last Tuesday night in line to pay for his items. Sheriff’s deputies say when they arrived at the store, they saw Serrano tussling with a security guard and attempting to take the guard’s gun, according to a department press release.“While detaining Serrano, he continued fighting with the deputies and did not comply with their commands. At that time, a use of force occurred,” Sgt. Lionel Murphy with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department states in the release.Serrano was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies say Serrano then stopped breathing. "Medical personnel on scene rendered aid and was able to obtain a pulse. Serrano was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. While at the hospital, Serrano’s condition deteriorated, and he was later pronounced deceased," the department states. Serrano’s family disagrees on what happened in the store, and point to video shared on social media from a witness showing a deputy walk up to Serrano and beat him a few times with a baton before another deputy tackles him.The department said the use of force in Serrano’s arrest is under investigation at this time.The family is raising money for Serrano’s memorial services.Warning: the video may be difficult to watch and the post contains strong language. 1499

Then, select the “Child Identity Theft” option under the “Special Forms of Identity Theft” section.A red flag to watch for is if your child has a credit report; they should not at an early age. A New York subway station has been unofficially renamed in honor of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died on Friday.The 50th Street subway station in Manhattan was retiled by a visual artist on Saturday to read "Ruth St."Artist Adrian Wilson posted photos of the redesign on the Instagram account @plannedalism with the caption, "Let's have some young positive women filling that bench…"Ginsburg will be honored in a more formal capacity at a later date. A Vero Beach, Florida family woke up to a man stomping on their roof, the Indian River Sheriff’s Office says. When deputies arrived, they say Jacob Futch claimed he was having a meeting with a DEA agent on the roof.The family told deputies that they don’t know Futch, and Futch admitted to not knowing who the agent is, according to an arrest report. A man living in the home told deputies he and this three young sons woke up to Futch yelling, howling and walking down the road around 6 a.m. on Nov. 11.Two hours later, the man says they woke up again after hearing Futch on the roof of his home.When Futch was asked if he was under the influence he said he had injected meth at approximately 2 a.m., an arrest affidavit states.Futch is facing a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. He is being held in the Indian River County Jail on 0 bond. 872
