OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) –Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man suspected in a string of incidents in Oceanside, including indecent exposure, peeping, and sexual assault.“He comes up and knocks on people’s doors, usually between the hours of 8 in the evening and 11, and exposes himself,” said Tom Bussey, public information officer for the Oceanside Police Department.“He has quite a few tattoos on the upper left arm and across his chest. We’re trying to get this information out to see if anybody might recognize him.”Oceanside police said officers have responded to seven peeping and indecent exposure calls at or near the River Oaks Apartments on 3880 San Ramon Dr. since June.In an incident on Sept. 5, police said a man “grabbed a female and sexually assaulted her.”The series of incidents:June 18 or 25 in the 3700 block of San Ramon DriveJune 27 in the 3800 block of San Ramon DriveAug. 8 in the 200 block of Rancho Del Oro DriveAug. 19 in the 3800 block of San Ramon DriveAug. 26 in the 3800 block of San Ramon DriveSept. 5 in the 3700 block of San Ramon DriveSept. 5 in the 300 block of Rancho Del Oro DriveThe man suspected in the series is described as white, in his 20s or 30s, and 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall. One of the men arrested for his involvement in a militia group's planned kidnapping of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was the subject of a feature story in a Swedish newspaper in June.In a report originally published by Expressen on June 21, reporter Nina Svenberg and photographer Joel Marklund met the subject of their next story, 21-year-old Paul Bellar, at an anti-coronavirus lockdown rally in Lansing, Michigan dubbed "Judgment Day.""(Bellar) spoke about the Boogaloo movement," said Svanberg, a U.S. correspondent for Expressen. "He said that they were a part of the Boogaloo movement and he also said, 'Well, I'm going to get in trouble for saying this.'"After the rally, the journalists met at Bellar at his home in Milford, Michigan where Bellar showed off his weapons and talked about his views on the government."I feel like the American civilization has to know that it's going to possibly revolt against the tyrannical government," Bellar said during an interview with Svanberg at his home on May 14. "I feel people have had enough of it and they're willing to pick up arms for it.""He said it's a tyranny," Svanberg said later. "He repeatedly talked about the system as a tyranny."Svanberg also says he talked about his militia, which held training preparing for different scenarios."He even said at one point, 'We are not crazy people, we are not planning to burn things or something like that, we are just here to protect our country,'" Svanberg said.However, according to the FBI and Michigan State Police, they were planning much more than that. Investigators allege Bellar was appointed "sergeant" of the "Wolverine Watchmen," an anti-government group conspiring to target law enforcement, attack the Capitol in Lansing and kidnap Whitmer."He talked about them communicating via encrypted chat groups," Svanberg said. "He pulled out his phone and said there were about 50 people in that chat group consisting of men and women, former veterans, all kinds of backgrounds."A federal investigation, aided by two informants inside the group's encrypted chats, kept police up to date with the group's plans, movements and training."He said he had been followed by the police, he was aware that the police were watching him as he described it," Svanberg said. "His big fear was that the feds or the police would come knocking on his door, he said that was what he was expecting."On Thursday, what Bellar said he was expecting happened. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) -- Three suspects were arrested Monday after reportedly shooting and injuring three women at an Oceanside shopping center.Police say Anthony Tua, 19, Deshune Bryant, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile were all arrested for the shooting.Investigators don’t believe the victims were the intended targets because the suspects reportedly shot into a large group of people. The shooting appears to be gang motivated, according to police.RELATED: Three women injured in Oceanside shooting  The shooting took place on the 3700 block of Mission Avenue at 5:15 p.m. Sunday.According to police, three women were in the front of a clothing store when three black men suddenly came up to them before shooting. All three victims suffered non-life threatening injuries."The only thing was, 'Save the kids!' because I don't know what was happening," said Angelica Camiro, a waitress who was taking her nephews to get ice cream when the shots rang out.Camiro said she ran back into the restaurant and told all the customers to get to the back of the store before calling police. 1101

OCEANSIDE (KGTV) - A big problem the homeless population faces is finding a safe place to bathe, that's why businesses are teaming up to help. Jordan Verdin has spent the last decade working with the homeless population in the North County. As a photographer, he’s always taking pictures and sharing their stories on social media. Part of Verdin’s love of taking pictures of the homeless is allowing them the opportunity of, “being seen and being heard but sometimes they might not want to be seen because of how they look so what we want to do I provide something that will eliminate that barrier”. He tells 10News, “One of the consistent needs shared with me is needing a place to shower”. After hearing that need repeated time and time again, he’s decided to work another project. Verdin mentioned the project to Oceanside business owner Jeanette Linnborn. Linnborn is the owner of coffee shop, Stay Golden. When Verdin brought the idea to Linnborn she jumped on board immediately. She tells 10News, “I was so excited about that I was like okay we can totally do this”. The shower trailer is made up of two sides, each equipped with a bathroom and shower. Verdin tells me 125 people will be able to shower daily. The shower trailer will stand as a liaison to help homeless back on their feet, “something as simple as a shower and a haircut just makes them feel human again” Verdin tells 10News. The cost of the shower trailer is ,000 and they have just reached the halfway point. There’s still a GoFundMe page set up to help them get the other half of funding. 1575
