Several 911 calls came in to police at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday reporting a fight at a party on Andover Road just east of South Second Street, El Cajon Police Lt. Eric Taylor said.Callers reported that multiple people had been kicked out and drove off in a silver car before turning around and firing shots at partygoers who were still outside, Taylor said. One person, a woman in her 20s, was shot in the abdomen.She was taken to a local hospital and was undergoing surgery in stable condition, Taylor said.No one else was hit by gunfire, but when police arrived at the home, they found a man in his 50s had also been stabbed in the buttocks, according to Taylor.The suspects had already left by the time officers arrived, and no one was in custody as of Sunday afternoon. 902

EL CAJON (CNS) - A 49-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of fatally shooting a man in an unincorporated area near El Cajon. Daniel Christopher Allen, who lives in the unincorporated area, was booked into the San Diego Central Jail for murder, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.The shooting was reported in the 6000 block of Stallion Oaks Road, southeast of Dehesa Road and northeast of the Sycuan Resort, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, sheriff's Lt. Thomas Seiver said.Before deputies arrived, an acquaintance of the victim drove him about a mile and a half from the shooting scene, Seiver said.Deputies stopped the vehicle on Stallion Oaks Road near Dehesa Road and found the victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound. It was not immediately clear if Allen is the acquaintance.The victim, whose name and age were not immediately available, was pronounced dead at the scene, Seiver said. 926

EL CAJON (KGTV) -- Crews are working to clear the scene of a semi truck fire that shut down a portion of Interstate 8 early Sunday morning.The semi truck caught on fire about 5 a.m. along westbound I-8 between 2nd Street and Mollison Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol.Responding fire crews said that 40 ft trailer was completely engulfed in flames. The fire blocked the far right lane for a couple of hours.A sig alert was issued about 7:45 am for the 2nd Street on ramp to westbound I-8.Crews remain on the scene working to clear the area of debris.The Sig-alert remained in effect as of 10:45 a.m., and motorists are asked to proceed through the area with caution or use alternate routes.  717
