UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese envoy to the United Nations on Thursday called for patience with the situation in Myanmar's Rakhine State.

"The Chinese government has the capacity and confidence to prevent systemic risks and maintain healthy and stable economic operations," said Zhou in a statement sent to the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) meeting.

The Monday meeting also decided to step up policy support to the industrial sector. The government will expand equal access of various market entities. The finance will allocate special funds to support the Industrial Internet drive. Companies will be encouraged to scale up financial input through bonds and stock rights.

Chen said these new legal documents and agreements are a "testimony of the existing friendly relations between the two countries."

He went on to say that China hopes they understand that inflammatory rhetoric will only increase the risk of conflict and reduce the effectiveness of their own policy tools.
