Flywheel has filed for bankruptcy.The fitness company was in business for 10 years and once had 40 studios across the United States.Earlier this year, Flywheel lost a major legal battle to its competitor.Peloton sued Flywheel alleging the company copied its technology used to create the in-home bikes.The patent infringement case initially caused Flywheel to close only a dozen of its studios along with all virtual classes.The pandemic later forced the company to layoff nearly all staff and close all studios.Flywheel hasn't commented on the bankruptcy filing. 571

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Police apprehended a kangaroo that was on the loose Thursday morning in Fort Lauderdale.Residents living near North Andrews Avenue and 13th Street reported seeing a runaway kangaroo hopping through their neighborhood.Fort Lauderdale police officers arrived and, with the help of wildlife officers, were able to leash the kangaroo and guide the animal into the back of a police cruiser.It was not immediately known how the kangaroo made its way to Fort Lauderdale, but the marsupial avoided a trip to the slammer.Instead, the Australian tourist was taken to the South Florida Wildlife Center. Fox News wants its biggest fans to sign up for a streaming service called "Fox Nation."The network is preparing to announce the new product on Tuesday morning, according to The New York Times.The Times said it will be a "stand-alone subscription service available without a cable package."The online channel is expected to start "by the end of the year," according to the report. The content will consist primarily of "right-leaning commentary, with original shows and cameos by popular personalities like Sean Hannity."A Fox News spokeswoman declined to comment ahead of Tuesday's announcement.But the Times story quoted John Finley, a senior vice president at the network, as saying that the "Fox Nation" service is "designed to appeal to the Fox superfan," the "folks who watch Fox News every night for hours at a time, the dedicated audience that really wants more of what we have to offer."Fox's existing contracts with cable and satellite providers limit how much it can stream shows like "Fox & Friends," "Special Report" and "Hannity." The move intended to discourage visitors to Yankee Jim's, a sliver of crystal clear water about 35 miles west of Lake Tahoe, comes as authorities struggle to control overcrowding at recreational sites as coronavirus cases continue to rise in many parts of the state. There are just 12 parking spots near Yankee Jim’s, but last weekend authorities counted more than 300 vehicles parked near the rugged roads surrounding a one-way bridge overhead.Placer County Sheriff’s officials said in a Facebook posting on Friday that the scenic area has exploded in popularity recently."This presents a huge public safety danger, and cannot allow any first responder to access Yankee Jim’s in the event of any emergency or fire," the statement said. 979
