CORSICANA, TX — Three juveniles in Texas have been arrested on felony charges after allegedly drinking from two juice bottles inside a Walmart store then putting them back on the shelves.The Corsicana Police Department says around 10 p.m. on August 23, officers were made aware of a Facebook post that showed a video of a suspect taking a drink from two separate juice bottles then putting them back on the shelves at Walmart.Walmart's management removed the products from the shelves as soon as they were made aware of the incident.All three suspects were identified and taken into custody. CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Zoo and the owner of a local canoeing business helped rescue more than 50,000 honeybees thought to have been living in a garage since the early 1990s.The bees were about 2 miles from the zoo, in Avondale. Experts think the bees had been colonizing a garage wall for 25 years, entering and leaving through a small hole near a window.That long time period might explain the colony's large number: Honeybees typically live about three to four weeks, while the queen lives three to five years.Dirk Morgan, owner of Morgan's Canoe and Morgan's Natural Buzz Honey, used a specialized vacuum to safely suck up the bees for transport. The vacuum has a weak air flow, just enough to draw in the honeybees but not so strong they'd be harmed.He also carefully cut out the brood -- which has all the young, eggs and larvae -- and put it into a new hive. That's so the bees won't have a reason to return to the garage."When these bees end up at the zoo, they'll have a home where they'll be taken care of, we can use them for education, put them in an observation hive to show kids the miracle of a bee being born," Morgan said.Rather than reaching for bug spray, experts hope you'll call someone to have honeybees rescued if you find them on your property. Kari Bruskotter, member of the Butler County Beekeepers Association, said it's a win-win for professional beekeepers to remove a swarm: You get the hive out of your space at little to no cost, and they get "free bees."Although rates of colony collapse disorder, which devastated the global population of honeybees at the turn of the century, are declining, Bruskotter said, their numbers still haven't recovered. CLAREMONT, Calif. -- A family wants the FBI to get involved after their son was stabbed to death in Mexico, according to KABC.Their son was in Mexico celebrating a friend’s birthday when he was killed, and now his family believes the Mexican government is trying to cover up the murder. Taylor Meyer left for Mexico for his friend’s 30th birthday.Photos show the 27-year-old having a good time with his friend’s in Playa Del Carmen. On Friday, his parents got a call informing them their youngest son had been murdered. They first thought it was a cruel hoax, but later discovered it was real.Kris and Krista Meyer say their son was stabbed to death and that a witness told police that three people carried out the attack, taking his wallet, shoes, watch and iPhone. The couple is now searching for answers and wants the FBI to investigate.They say that Mexican authorities are trying to cover up the murder so not to scare tourists away. Congress is currently honoring one of its own — longtime Georgia representative and Civil Rights leader John Lewis.Lewis' body was flown from Alabama to Washington, D.C. on Monday, and is currently lying in state in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.Members of the House of Representatives and Senate will have a chance to pay their respects before a public viewing takes place this evening. Among those who paid tribute to Lewis with speeches were Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California. CNN reports that the public viewing will take place outdoors due to the coronavirus pandemic.On Sunday, Lewis' body made a final trip over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, where half a century ago, he led several marches for voting rights. The first of those marches became known as "Bloody Sunday," as Lewis and other civil rights activists were met with force from state and local police as they crossed the bridge. The marches sparked a national conversation about voting rights for Black people, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was passed a few months later.Following events in Washington, Lewis' body will return to Georgia — the state he represented in Congress for more than 30 years. Lewis' funeral will take place on Thursday at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta — the same church that was formerly led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.A public viewing at the Capitol building is one of the highest honors a Representative, a Senator or elected official can receive upon their death.
