Police in Montgomery County, Maryland, released surveillance footage Thursday from an Aug. 2 attempted carjacking in Bethesda in hopes it will lead to the arrest of the two suspects.Police said at about 9:15 p.m. on Aug. 2, a man was returning to his car parked in the garage of the Westfield Montgomery Mall when two male suspects approached him. PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The University of Pittsburgh announced on Sunday that they'd issued a shelter-in-place order for students on its Pittsburgh campus due to a spike in positive COVID-19 cases on campus.The order, which was initially scheduled for Thursday, was moved up and went into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday."This action is being taken to respond to a significant increase in positive cases among students over the weekend," university officials said in a statement. PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Two people were shot Friday evening during a football game at Palm Beach Central High School in Florida.According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, one of the victims was located on the school property. The second victim was transported to a local hospital by a friend. Officials say both victims are currently being treated at area hospitals. Their conditions are unknown. Gender and ages of the victims have not been confirmed at this time. Initial reports from district personnel indicated the shots seem to have come from outside the stadium, the school district said.
