Womack confirms.  After evaluating him, Womack was able to give Armstrong a dose of medication on the spot.  "Okay I'm going to print you up some instructions here," Womack says.  He was relieved.  "It's a shame that you can be so sick that you can't travel," Armstrong said. "I couldn't hardly walk to the door in there. I really appreciate it. I really do."  "I like going into the home with the patients," Womack said. "And seeing the challenges they might have in the home that if you came into the emergency room you might not see."  "People would come to the emergency department just for simple things like that which we can do quickly and easily at their own home," says Phil Mitchell, an ER physician and Medical Director at DispatchHealth.Dr. Mitchell said that experience is a catalyst for the work dispatch health does.Nationwide, 50 percent of emergency rooms operate at or above capacity. And the company says on average it's about 80 percent more affordable than a visit to the emergency room.There is an ongoing effort to streamline service and provide care where it's most comfortable.Right now, DispatchHealth operates in Colorado, Arizona, and Virginia and is continuing to expand nationwide with new operations scheduled to open in Las Vegas this year. 2375

(AP) -- A California man has been charged with poisoning eight homeless people with an incredibly spicy resin derived from chili peppers so that he could videotape their reactions.Authorities in Southern California's Orange County say 38-year-old William Robert Cable fed the victims food laced with oleoresin capsicum, which is twice as strong as pepper spray used by police.The victims suffered seizure-like symptoms, difficulty breathing, vomiting and intense mouth and stomach pain. Some had to be hospitalized.Cable was arrested last month in Huntington Beach and prosecutors announced Thursday that he's been charged with nine felonies and various misdemeanor counts.Cable is being held in jail on 0,000 bail. 751

Hunters in the Florida Everglades continue to pull out some massive pythons in an attempt to eliminate the invasive species from the Sunshine State.The South Florida Water Management District on Wednesday posted a video that showed famed python hunter Dusty Crum with one of his recent catches -- a 16-foot, 11-inch whopper!The snake broke Crum's own record for the longest snake caught as part of SFWMD's Python Elimination Program.The district said Crum captured the python late last Thursday.Since the program began in late March, hunters have removed 638 invasive pythons from the Everglades. 624
