(KGTV)— There are new developments in the fight to free the San Diego-based Navy SEAL accused of murdering an ISIS POW. There is concern he could head back to the brig before his May 28th trial, even after the President intervened. Representative Duncan Hunter’s team was under the impression that his March 31 meeting with Chief Eddie Gallagher would have major consequences. "I am going to see why they are going to put him back in the brig if my staff goes and talks to Eddie Gallagher,” Representative Hunter said in a Twitter video. He told his followers he was going to meet with the Navy Liaison to get answers. Navy Commander Tamara Lawrence told 10News Gallagher now lives in another San Diego base, which they cannot disclose. She said his current pre-trial restrictions allow for "significant freedom of movement." Gallagher is allowed to walk anywhere inside the building and around the sidewalk. For anything outside that immediate area, he must be with an escort. She said Gallagher has unlimited access to his legal team and medical care. While he cannot have a cellphone or computer, he is allowed visitors and to make calls from a community phone. (KGTV) - The nephew of baseball star Alex Rodriguez was kidnapped and held for ransom in New York Thursday after a deal involving a Lamborghini, various media outlets reported.Rodriguez’ nephew, 29-year-old Norberto Susini, met two men at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square to sell them the vehicle, WABC reported. The men then demanded Susini return a ,000 deposit but he refused.WABC reported the men then held Susini against his will in a hotel room. They demanded ransom from Susini’s business partners, who called police.The men turned themselves in at 4 a.m, according to WABC.Susini is a player in independent baseball leagues.
