No, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are not going away next month, despite an article making the rounds on the internet.Originally posted last week, the headline read "World's most popular candy to be removed from shelves by October 2017!" and in the story, said Reese's Peanut Butter Cups would no longer be available. It cited the manufacturer saying there was a decline in sales after a new version of the product. In a tweet a day later, Reese's calmed everyone's fears telling people not to believe everything they read on the internet. So, be sure to enjoy the peanut butter and chocolate deliciousness all year long! 623

Nine children have been reported dead at a New Jersey nursing home in the last week, at least eight from viruses that cause respiratory illness, the state health department said. The ninth victim, described as "medically fragile with respiratory illness" by the Wanaque Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Haskell, died late Saturday night at a hospital, the state health department said in a statement. It is awaiting laboratory confirmation of adenoviruses in a child who died Friday. The viruses are known to persist on unclean surfaces and medical instruments, and may not be eliminated by common disinfectants, but they rarely cause severe illness in healthy people. Those with weakened immune systems, though, have a higher risk for severe disease and may remain infectious long after they recover, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says. They are common in places with large groups of children, such as child-care settings, schools and summer camps. There have been 25 confirmed pediatric adenovirus cases at Wanaque, including the eight child deaths. The confirmed cases became ill between September 26 and October 22. A staff member also became ill but has recovered, the health department said. 1232

NEW YORK — Travelers from states with a high rate of coronavirus transmission are now required to provide contact information upon entering New York, or they could face a hefty fine.New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the emergency order during a coronavirus briefing on Monday in an effort to enforce the state’s travel advisory, which mandates travelers from designated states to self-quarantine for 14 days when they arrive in New York.Travelers who do not comply could face a ,000 fine and a hearing for a court-ordered quarantine.Cuomo, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont announced the travel advisory in late June as the number of coronavirus cases began to surge in other parts of the country.“We worked really hard to get the viral transmission rate down, and we don’t want to see it go up,” Cuomo had said of the decision to implement the advisory. The travel advisory applies to states that have an infection rate above 10 cases per 100,000 people or if 10% of the total population tests positive. Both metrics are monitored on a seven-day rolling average. The advisory also applies to tri-state area residents who are traveling back to their home state from areas with a high rate of transmission. As of July 7, there were 19 states that meet the criteria:AlabamaArkansasArizonaCaliforniaDelawareFloridaGeorgiaIowaIdahoKansasLouisianaMississippiNorth CarolinaNevadaOklahomaSouth CarolinaTennesseeTexasUtahThis story was originally published by Lauren Cook on WPIX in New York City. 1525

NEW YORK (AP) — Video app TikTok said it would wage a legal fight against the Trump Administration's efforts to ban the popular, Chinese-owned service over national-security concerns.TikTok, which is owned by China's ByteDance, insisted that it is not a national-security threat and that the government is acting without evidence or due process. On Monday, the company said it would file suit against the government later Monday in federal court in California."Now is the time for us to act," the company said in a press release. "We do not take suing the government lightly; however, we feel we have no choice but to take action to protect our rights and the rights of our community and employees."A copy of the complaint could not be immediately obtained.President Donald Trump issued an executive order in August that imposed a sweeping but unspecified ban on any "transaction" with ByteDance, to take effect in mid-September.In recent weeks, the Chinese-owned app was in talks with Microsoft to purchase them, but with the lawsuit, TikTok switched gears is now going on the offensive. 1095
