CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police have identified the suspects who reportedly attacked a Carlsbad woman, stabbing her to death during an attempted burglary Monday morning. According to police, Ian Bushee, 37, and Malissa James, 26, who are both transients, were arrested on the 4800 block of Park Drive Monday. Both are on probation in San Bernardino for residential burglary. Police say Bushee was arrested for homicide, burglary, conspiracy, auto theft and accessory after the fact. James was arrested for homicide, burglary, conspiracy and auto theft. “The Police Department shares the communities’ concern over such a tragic incident,” Police Chief Neil Gallucci said. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family.”The incident was reported at around 12:30 a.m. at a home in the 1800 block of Outrigger Lane, just north of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon, according to Carlsbad police.MUST-READ: Victims in deadly paragliding accident at Torrey Pines Gliderport identifiedPolice said the suspects broke into the home, and during the break-in, a woman in the house was stabbed. She was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries at Scripps La Jolla Hospital about an hour later.After the incident, police say both Bushee and James fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. BURBANK (CNS) - The Walt Disney Co. reported sharp year-over-year third-quarter revenue drops today, thanks in part to the coronavirus-prompted closure of its theme parks, but the success of its streaming services, most notably Disney+, gave the Burbank company a needed boost.Disney reported third-quarter revenue of .8 billion, a 42% drop from last year's third quarter, but still ahead of industry expectations.Revenue losses were fueled largely by the closure of Disney parks worldwide, with the company's Parks, Experiences and Products segment seeing an 85% revenue drop from the third quarter of last year. CHARLOTTE, NC (WGHP) -- Crowds lined up to see Billy Graham’s funeral motorcade bring his casket from Asheville to Charlotte on Saturday.The motorcade left Asheville at about 11 a.m. and brought his casket to the Billy Graham Library shortly before 3 p.m.Graham, an evangelical minister and spiritual confidant to American presidents, died at the age of 99 on Wednesday.Graham “spread the gospel in 185 countries during his 99 years on Earth, touching the lives of many and forever changing the course of the world’s spiritual health,” according to a statement by House Speaker Paul Ryan.Graham’s private funeral will be held on Friday, March 2 at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina.About 2,300 guests have been invited, including President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and every living former president.Billy Graham Evangelistic Association confirmed that George W. Bush and his wife Laura will attend the repose on Monday, but not the funeral. The organization couldn’t confirm if any other former presidents, President Trump or Vice President are attending any events next week.Graham will lie in repose in his childhood home, which was moved to Charlotte several years ago, on Monday, February 26 and Tuesday, February 27. CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (KGTV) - Hundreds of Marines recovering from injuries are at Camp Pendleton this week for the Warrior Games Trials. They're competing to represent the Marines at the National Games, but also finding new ways to heal from their injuries."It helps you know you're not alone," says Lance Corporal Jay Alan Davis, who was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder while on duty.This is LC Davis' first time at the games. He says it's been uplifting to find a sense of camaraderie among the athletes."If you're able to sit there and talk to somebody about it, they're more likely to go to you," he says. "Then you don't have to feel alone. You don't have to be alone."That's the same sentiment that brought Tisha Knickerbocker to the games in 2012. Tisha was a life-long athlete until she broke her back. Finding a way to compete still has helped her mental recovery."It improved everything," she says. "It was great. I really can't find a word that accurately describes the feeling that it gave me to get an old part of myself back."The games run from March 4-12 at Camp Pendleton. CAMPO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Cal Fire responded Saturday afternoon to a large fire burning near the border in Campo. According to the agency, the fire is raging near Forest Gate Road and Border Road.Although Southern California Air Operations tweeted around 11:45 a.m. that the fire "is now well established on the U.S. side," Cal Fire says the blaze never reached the U.S. Air Operations said it sent several aircraft to the fire, including two tankers and two helicopters, but around 1 p.m., all aircraft were released from the fire. The agency said the fire is burning in light flashy fuels with a rapid rate of spread. The blaze is estimated at 50 to 100 acres currently, Cal Fire reported.
