HOG MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A Georgia mother has gone viral after she posted a photo of her son shopping at Goodwill on Facebook, explaining that she was teaching him a lesson about money.According to Cierra Brittany Forney's Facebook post, her 13-year-old son had been acting "a little... entitled" recently. "Acting like he's too good to shop at Wal-Mart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at the Goodwill and quite a few other things," her post reads.Forney says she doesn't tolerate that. As a result of her son's behavior, she took him to Goodwill and made him use his own to buy clothes to wear the entire week to school."I want to teach my kids that money isn't everything and if you have to degrade other people because of where they shop, then you too will shop there," she said.Her post has received praise from parents all around the nation and has been shared nearly 250,000 times.In a separate Facebook post, Forney explains that she did not share the photo to shame her son, but rather to teach him that money and name brands don't change who people are. She also explains that she shared the post with her son's permission. "He was completely fine with it and still is," she said. "My son and I have an amazing relationship.""My son learned a valuable lesson from this and I believe it is just another story we can add to our lives memory to look back on," she said. "I did this to teach him that money and name brands don't change who we are as people. (KGTV) - Gardena Police are thanking the UPS workers and customers who stopped a robbery in progress outside a UPS Store.Two men approached the victim as he walked outside the store September 7.  Police said the men knocked the victim with a ground, struck him with a crowbar, and tried to take his property.Police credit UPS employees and customers for scaring off the robbers.The victim was not seriously hurt.The attackers, who drove away in a white van, have not been caught. 508

Each phone call will cost you .To get started, users will need to download the CVS app and complete a health questionnaire. Users will then be matched with a healthcare provider in the patient's state. They will look over the questionnaire and the medical history provided. After that, the video chat begins.  Many say this method is a better option than self-diagnosing yourself on WebMD. However, it does beg the question: can you really be properly diagnosed over the phone?Kevin Flynn with Healthcare Advocates says Telehealth is helpful in many ways, but there are a few downsides, especially if you think you have the flu."There's also a danger with the flu, which is dehydration," says Flynn. "Can a doctor really properly diagnose the dehydration over tele-medicine?"Flynn says Telehealth is great for those over the age of 40, who know and understand their bodies. GOP Sen. Rand Paul was assaulted in his home in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Friday, according to Kentucky State Police.State troopers responded to a call to the senator's residence at 3:21 p.m. Friday. Police arrested a man named Rene Albert Boucher, who they allege "intentionally assaulted" Paul, causing him "minor injury."Boucher, 59, of Bowling Green was charged with one count of fourth-degree assault. As of Saturday afternoon, he was being held in the Warren County Regional Jail on a ,000 bond.Police were not immediately clear on why Boucher allegedly assaulted Paul.
