My dad has only ever liked one video game - Galaga. He and my mom used to go play it on date nights when they were newly-weds and broke. This year, me and my siblings all pitched in to get him a Galaga arcade machine for Christmas. I don't think I've ever seen him more excited to get a present! 311

Ohio has been added to the Ohio Department of Health’s COVID-19 Travel Advisory map, meaning the state is recommending Ohioans avoid traveling to Ohio, and those entering Ohio after traveling from Ohio are advised to self-quarantine in Ohio for 14 days.Obviously, outside of The Matrix or a Christopher Nolan movie, this is physically impossible. To be clear, you are free to move about the state, but the ODH recommends staying home except for necessary trips. The ODH included this statement on this week's travel advisory: "This is the first week since April where Ohio’s positivity for COVID-19 has increased above 15%. The state has seen record levels of cases, deaths, and hospitalizations in the past week, and all Ohioans can help to limit the spread and impact of this virus. This includes recommendations to stay at home except for necessary trips for supplies, consistent mask-wearing when around others, and frequent hand washing. Together we can help stop the spread of COVID-19."Ohio was added to its own travel advisory map because, as ODH states, the 7-day rolling average positivity rate for COVID-19 tests in the state rose above 15% for the first time since April this week. Any state with a positivity rate above 15% is put on the map, and the ODH recommends against travel to those states with high positivity. The positivity rate is an indicator of how much COVID-19 there is in a community, ODH states, and comes from state-level aggregate data from The COVID Tracking Project. The travel advisory is updated each Wednesday, based on data from Tuesday. The 13 other states included in Wednesday’s travel advisory and their average positivity rates are:Idaho - 49.0%Iowa - 43.4%South Dakota - 41.1%Kansas - 40.0%Alabama - 33.0%Pennsylvania - 29.0%Arizona - 23.0%Mississippi - 22.0%Utah - 20.0%Missouri - 19.0%Nevada - 17.0%Montana - 15.0%Arkansas - 15.0%The advisory and self-quarantine recommendations are intended for both leisure and business travel and should be heeded by both Ohioans and out-of-state travelers, the ODH stated. It is also guidance and not a mandate. For more information on the state's travel advisory, and recommendations for self-quarantining in Ohio after traveling to Ohio from Ohio, click here. TAMPA, Fla. -- With a mandatory mask order underway in the city of Tampa, Will Rivera made sure every customer covered up when inside GNC on South Howard Avenue. "You can’t keep social distancing inside the store because it’s a very small location, it’s not possible. You have more than two, three customers in there, it’s definitely not possible so the safest thing to do is wear a mask," said Rivera. Rivera said he was fired last week for turning away customers not wearing face coverings. Rivera says his district manager stepped in, stating they would not lose sales over the mask mandate. "This is a store founded on health and wellness and it seems like there’s no care of health and wellness of individuals that come into the store, other than profit," said Rivera. After several attempts, GNC has yet to return any calls or emails seeking comment about Rivera's termination or corporate mask policy. This comes as the supplement and vitamin chain announced it has declared bankruptcy and plans to close 800 stores. Rivera's attorney, Jason Woodside, sent the following statement: "Florida's Private Whistleblower Statute provides broad protection for employees who object to, or refuse to participate in, any activity, policy, or practice of an employer which is in violation of a law, rule, or regulation. Given the recent "face covering" laws enacted to ensure public safety, Mr. Rivera believes his termination was unlawful and we are reviewing the best course of action to seek redress." BALTIMORE, Md. – For 95-year-old Betty Cooke, her lifelong passion of turning metal into wearable works of art began in the 1940s. “I was always interested in making things, whether it's metal clay or whatever,” she said. “And I kind of took to this and I had a good feel for the simplicity of it.” It’s a simplicity celebrated not just at her Baltimore store, but also at the Baltimore Museum of Art. “They really stand out, they're really sculptural, they're really dimensional – they move on the body,” said Virginia Anderson, Baltimore Museum of Art Curator of American Art. Betty’s works are just one part of “2020 Vision,” a pledge by the museum in 2020 to only purchase art by female artists. “Of course, it was duly noted that this is this centennial of white women receiving the votes in the United States,” said Christopher Bedford, Director of the Baltimore Museum of Art. “So, we thought ‘well, this would be a great moment to analyze our collection, begin to understand some of our historical deficits.” How big are those gender deficits? A study last year published in the Public Library of Science looked at 18 major museums in the U.S. and found that 85 percent of the artists in their collections were white and 87 percent were men. This, despite the fact that half of the professional artists in the U.S. are women. At the Baltimore Museum of Art, the disparity is even more lopsided. “We have roughly four percent,” Bedford said. “Four percent of our collection is works by women.” Now, though, with 21 of their 23 curators being women, the Baltimore Museum of Art plans to spend at least .5 million this year, acquiring pieces by female artists – like those created by Betty Cooke. “This is a big moment for the women,” Cooke said. “I hope and I expect it to continue and I think it's pretty great.”Another recent study found that smaller museums seem to be doing better than larger ones, when it comes to buying works by female artists. Larger museums, though, point out that they often face not just financial constraints, but also by what art wealthy donors choose to offer the museums. 2126
