According to AAA, most travelers book flights for Thanksgiving between September 25 and October 27 and between October 26 and November 27 for Christmas “Holiday travelers should make their plans now and begin booking their flights for Thanksgiving and Christmas as early as Wednesday, Sept. 25 for the best deals and availability,” said Paula Twidale, vice president, AAA Travel. The site says, however, that limited availability makes seats hard to come by at the discounted rates. Christmas TravelFor Christmas, AAA found that booking flights between 61 to 90 days before the holiday, or between September 26 and October 27, is best. Last-minute Christmas travelers can find the best pricing between seven to 13 days before the holiday, according to AAA. However, much like Thanksgiving, availability is likely to be limited. “Procrastinating travelers may be able to find last-minute deals on flights close to the holidays, as airlines look to fill their last few remaining seats, but flight availability for these peak travel weeks will be very limited by that time," Twidale continued. 1492

We actually had one job where the manned security was in cahoots with the people who were stealing the stuff off the job site," said Godler.A study said false alarms cost the U.S. nearly billion dollars.  94 percent of alarms turned out to be false, tying up valuable police time when there is no burglar.Radius says it helps police capture the bad guy, like one man who hid in a porta potty, about 60 percent of the time. This technology also lets the security company route a live feed from the security camera to law enforcement's cars."They can punch in a four-digit code into their vehicle while they're driving to the site and they can see live what our monitoring station is seeing so they'll know where the criminal is on the site and they'll see what he is doing live on video and get there in an even faster time.,” said Luyt.Right now, this technology runs upwards of ,000 a year, which is too expensive for many.  But, Luyt expects that eventually, the computer system will get smaller and be more cost-effective to keep your home safe.The company plans to expand this year to the United States, both in San Francisco and Chicago. 2639

A 62-year-old man is accused of killing two people, after their remains were found in suitcases left on a Seattle area beach.The man was taken into custody this week for the murder of two people, according to Seattle police. Court records show the man knew the victims, and there was a disagreement over rent money.In mid-June, several bags containing human remains were found in the water and on the beach in an area of West Seattle. Police got a call from people who found the bags.The remains were identified a few weeks later as a 27-year-old man and 35-year-old female.
