ST. LOUIS (AP) — A grand jury has indicted the St. Louis couple who displayed guns while hundreds of racial injustice protesters marched on their private street. A lawyer for Mark McCloskey and his wife, Patricia McCloskey, confirmed the indictments Tuesday. A spokeswoman for Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner declined comment.The McCloskeys, who are both attorneys, have become folk heroes among some conservatives. They argue that they were simply exercising their Second Amendment right to bear arms, and were protected by Missouri’s castle doctrine law that allows the use of deadly force against intruders. The case has caught the attention of President Donald Trump, and Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson has said he will pardon the couple if they are convicted.The McCloskeys also were featured speakers on the first night of the Republican National Convention. They’ve accused the “leftist” Democratic St. Louis leadership for their plight.Gardner, a Democrat, charged the couple with felony unlawful use of a weapon. She said the display of guns risked bloodshed at what she called an otherwise peaceful protest.Watkins said that in addition to the weapons charge, the grand jury indictment includes a tampering with evidence charge. Some may call this story a coincidence but this Corpus Christi, Texas couple calls it fate.Turns out they were both born on the same day, delivered by the same doctor all while at the same hospital.It was at Bay Area hospital almost 23 years ago that the special deliveries took place.Sierra Molina and Marcus Acuna’s love story is hard to believe but it’s true. Now, this couple wants to make their wedding day just as special as their love story.It was while the two were getting to know each other they learned this love connection was meant to be. That’s because the couple was born on the same day, in the same hospital.“I went and asked my mom. And she was like why what’s wrong? Well, the girl I’m talking to has the same birthday as me. She goes, really? And I go yes. It’s weird,” said Sierra Molina’s fiancee Marcus Acuna. Then they were delivered by the same doctor.“So when our parents told us we were like oh that’s cool let’s pull out the birth certificate and we saw it on there,” said Bride to be Sierra Molina.“It was divinely a shock to find out that there is somebody out there that has the same birthday as me and lives in the same town as me for years as long as we’ve been here,” said Acuna.Their love continued to grow and on Christmas Day in December of 2019, the two got engaged.“When I realized I wanted to marry her, I was like you know, it’s something that I want to do and this makes me happy and she makes me happy,” said Acuna.Since their story is so special the wedding date they chose will be as well.“Now that we are going to have our wedding on our birthday on August 23rd when we turn 23 like that’s so special like this date whether it’s during corona or not we know we wanted to have this date,” said Molina.If you are second-guessing getting married during a pandemic, the couple has some advice for you.“Just do it. It’s not about how big it is or how small it is, if it’s in a backyard, ya know just anything. Starbucks is closing an additional 100 stores in the US within the next year because of shifting consumer habits due to COVID-19.With fewer people working in urban centers, the coffee giant is responding by setting up more stores in the suburbs.There's also less customer traffic during the week now but that is offset by more coffee being sold on weekends.Starbucks has become more focused on drive-thru's and carryout, with fewer customers lingering inside because of social distancing.The store closings are in addition to 400 previously announced for the US, and another 200 for Canada.Still, with Starbucks planning 850 new stores at the same time, there will actually be a net gain of 50 new stores next year.No word has been released on where the new stories will be built and which stores are closing. 817

SOLANA BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) -- Bike riders in Solana Beach were out in their bright pink Saturday morning to raise money for breast cancer patients. It was all part of the annual Boob Ride lead riders along the coast, some as far north as Camp Pendleton. Participants could ride for 30, 60 or 90 miles.After the ride, there was a big party at Tidewater Tavern where riders enjoyed a buffet, massages and beer. Over 200 cyclists were expected, over 300 showed up to the after party.All of the money raised goes to help breast cancer patients with meal preps, rides to appointments and other needs.  630

Six days after Hurricane Michael roared ashore, wreaking havoc on the Florida Panhandle, a bit of good news has emerged in hard-hit Mexico Beach.On Monday, authorities announced both that residents can begin returning home this week and that the estimate for the number of people unaccounted for has been lowered from at least 30 to three.Mexico Beach took the hardest punch from Michael when the storm made landfall six days ago.Besides the widespread destruction, town police say two people were killed there, including one body found Monday.After standing by for days as authorities worked to secure the area and complete search and rescue, Mexico Beach residents learned Monday that they can return home on Wednesday.About 280 of the town's 1,200 residents had said they planned to ride out the storm, but the town's mayor said many fled at the last minute when Michael quickly gained strength.Authorities initially said they could not account for 30 to 35 people but police Monday lowered that number to three missing. 1031
