And so, at this rate, we could be years away from a full recovery.”According to Bankrate senior economist Mark Hamrick, we could also be seeing both a swift recovery and a worsening one, simultaneously.“My sense for many months now has been that this has been a so-called K-shape recovery,” said Hamrick. “Why do we call it a K? Essentially, we have one leg moving up and the other moving down [and] that is indicative of this have and have-not economy.”Hamrick supported that idea and recovery trajectory by pointing out that unemployment levels for higher-income workers are back to pre-recession levels, while lower-income workers are still struggling with elevated levels of unemployment“My concern is that people who have been hurt by this economic downturn are not going to heal from this quickly,” explained Hamrick.However, while experts seem conflicted over what economic recovery pattern we are actually seeing now, all of them agree on one thing: the most successful way out of the alphabet soup of economic recovery paths and to normalcy is with a discovered vaccine and wide distribution of it.“The other thing that can truly help in the short-term is a stimulus package out of Washington,” added Drapkin. 2768

"It was a toxic environment for young men who had to interact with him at all in the crew, cast, background actors."The other people who worked on "House of Cards" with whom CNN spoke all supported the idea that the set could be toxic for young men because of Spacey.A crew member who worked on the show for all six seasons said that Spacey routinely harassed and touched him."He would put his hands on me in weird ways," the crew member said. "He would come in and massage my shoulders from behind or put his hands around me or touch my stomach sometimes in weird ways that in normal everyday conversation would not be appropriate."This crew member said he did not "feel comfortable" telling Spacey to stop. "That's the worst part about this whole thing. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Inside Super Food and Brew, it’s been a brutal few months of business, ever since the coronavirus pandemic began.“We did have to reduce the staff quite a bit,” said Al Penttila, Super Food and Brew’s general manager. “Basically, it was a struggle for them for the beginning of it.”Surviving mainly on take-out and delivery orders, news that the Republican National Convention would be coming to Jacksonville came as a welcome relief.“The arena is about three blocks from here so we're hoping and we're expecting a lot of foot traffic,” Penttila said.The RNC estimates about 50,000 people will make their way to Jacksonville for the convention and potentially bring in more than 0 million to the local economy. Yet, there are some concerns about what else it might bring, one of which revolves around the potential for protests during the convention.“I hope it doesn't get out of hand,” Penttila said. “I know they're taking precautions.”The city’s Republican mayor said there will be plenty of security in place.“Peaceful protests are a right and here in Jacksonville we honor and respect that right,” said Mayor Lenny Curry, R-Jacksonville. “There will be additional resources in our city that will be subsidized by the federal government.”Then, there’s the ever-lurking specter of COVID-19.
