MAUI, Hawaii (AP) — Authorities say the man killed by a shark in Hawaii this weekend was a 65-year-old resident of California.Shark warning signs are posted Sunday in the Ka'anapali Beach Park area on Maui where the man died.Witness Allison Keller tells Hawaii News Now that the man appeared unconscious as rescuers brought him to shore Saturday.Keller says the victim was missing his left leg from the knee down and skin was torn from his wrist.Hawaii's Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement confirmed the man's age but did not release his name. Officials didn't say where in California he was from.The man's family told rescuers he had gone swimming in the area.The last fatal shark attack in Hawaii was in 2015, when a snorkeler off Maui was killed. 773

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Oprah Winfrey is using her influence to push for justice in the police killing of Breonna Taylor.The media mogul is having dozens of billboards installed around the city of Louisville, WAVE reports. The 26-year-old emergency room technician and her boyfriend were in bed. After a brief exchange, Taylor’s boyfriend reportedly fired his gun and then police fired shots, striking Taylor at least eight times. She died in the apartment hallway.Since Taylor’s death, protests have been held across the country, demanding that the officers involved be charged in her killing. Many celebrities other than Oprah have also used their platforms to call for action.For now, the shooting is under investigation by the FBI and Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron. (KGTV) -- The devastating Woolsey Fire destroyed homes in Malibu Friday including one belonging to Caitlyn Jenner.By Friday afternoon, 14,000 acres burned, along with multiple homes, fire officials reported. Another 30,000 homes were threatened in Ventura County.Caitlyn Jenner's home was featured on her reality show "I Am Cait", according to KABC.
