BALTIMORE, Md. – Sunday’s NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers has been postponed again due to a coronavirus outbreak.The NFL confirmed Friday afternoon that the Week 12 game has been moved to Tuesday, Dec. 1 and it will begin at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. This is the second time the game has been postponed. They were supposed to play Thursday night, but the game was moved to Sunday after an initial wave of players tested positive for the virus. Both the COVID-19 pandemic and conversations about race happening now are shining a light on mental health.One in five adults experience mental illness each year. Only one in three Black adults who need mental health care are getting it.The reasons range from socioeconomic disparities, like access to health insurance, to the stigma in the Black community around getting this care.Another issue, the latest numbers from the American Psychological Association show 4% of psychologists in the U.S. are Black.“You know, I think a lot of these guys, they've been going to the same barber since they were 5 years old or maybe only went to a couple of barbers in their whole life and so it's their relationship,” said Lorenzo Lewis, founder of The Confess Project, which trains barbers to become mental health advocates.That training includes learning active listening, positive communication, validation and stigma reduction.Lewis says the barbershop is a good place for this because it's really the only place in the Black community, besides the church, where everyone from all socioeconomic backgrounds come. And they visit more frequently than they would their own doctor.He says he recognized the need for mental health help among black men, but saw it wasn't accessible to them.He is hearing conversations in barbershops change especially now with the issues the Black community is facing.“I think, if nothing else, it is more of a preparation conversation around life success and what in which we know when individuals are successful in life, career, health and their relationships, that they will have a quality mental health,” said Lewis.The mental health training for barbers is being offered in some cities in person, or you can take the virtual course. Taylor's boyfriend fired at police, thinking they were intruders. Police then returned fire, shooting and killing Taylor. No drugs were found in the home.Last week, the city of Louisville banned the use of no-knock warrants with "Breonna's Law." Later, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, introduced legislation that would ban no-knock warrants across the country.However, for Beyoncé, that's not enough. In her letter, she asked that the officers involved be held accountable for their actions. She mentioned that no arrests have been made in connection with Taylor's death, and the officers involved still have their jobs with the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).Beyoncé asked for three things in her letter. Brothers Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were convicted of the 1989 murder of their parents, are together again and housed at the same California state prison.Terry Thornton, spokeswoman for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, said Lyle Menendez was transferred to the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego on February 22 and was moved Wednesday into the same housing unit as Erik Menendez.The move was made after a transfer request from Lyle Menendez. He previously had been held at Mule Creek State Prison in Northern California, Thornton said.The prison board found no reason that the brothers could not be housed together.Lyle Menendez, 50, and Erik Menendez, 47, have been imprisoned since July 1996, after a much-publicized trial. Both men are serving life sentences with no possibility of parole.In the sensational televised trial, the brothers, then teenagers, claimed they killed their parents, Jose and Mary Louise Menendez of Beverly Hills, California, after years of sexual abuse by their father.Prosecutors, however, said the two wanted to get their parents' million fortune.  1143
