(KGTV) - Westfield Mall will be terminating its leases with two pet stores operating on their properties in San Diego County.It comes after two animal rights groups filed a lawsuit against Westfield and Bark Avenue, the pet store in the North County Fair mall.“We want to shut them down,” said Bryan Pease, attorney for the Animal Protection and Rescue League and Not One Animal Harmed.The complaint accuses Bark Avenue of unfair business practices. Despite a new state law that prohibits the retail sale of cats, dogs and rabbits, except for rescues, Bark Avenue has continued to sell purebred and designer puppies. EXETER, N.H. — A voter bared her arms, and more, after she was told she couldn't wear an anti-Trump shirt at a polling place and responded by whipping it off and doing her civic duty topless.The woman wore a "McCain Hero, Trump Zero" T-shirt at the polling place in Exeter, New Hampshire, on Tuesday's primary election.In New Hampshire, voters are not permitted to wear any "campaign material" inside a polling station. Moderator Paul Scafidi told the woman that she could not wear the shirt while voting, according to Sea Coast Online.Scafidi said the woman asked why another woman in the polling station was allowed to wear a shirt with an American flag while voting. Scafidi said he determined that an American flag shirt did not constitute as electioneering — a judgment call that he, as the moderator, is required to make.Scafidi then told Sea Coast Online that the woman asked if she should take her shirt off, even though she was wearing nothing underneath."I said, I'd rather she not," Scafidi said, according to Sea Coast Online. (KGTV) - A set of triplets took sibling rivalry to new heights in this year's spelling bee at O'Farrell Charter School.Seventh graders Miguel, Maya and Mia Brizuela finished 1st, 2nd and 4th in the school competition, respectively. Miguel advanced to the County-wide bee, held Thursday at Town and Country Hotel in Mission Valley."I'm very good at grammar, so it's really easy for me," says Miguel, when asked how he managed to win. But he also admits he got help from his sister, Maya."We were going back and forth, back and forth. And then, finally, Maya just decided to give up because she said that she didn't want to go to the county," he says.Maya confirmed the story that she let her brother win."Like, 1% of me wanted to win," she says. "But I have stage fright. I didn't want to go up there in the auditorium and spell words in front of a lot of people," she says.But it's Mia, who finished 4th at the school, who believes she's the best speller of the three."I felt like I needed to raise myself to their level of spelling," she says of her finish in the competition. "And I like to correct their grammar a lot."The three say they practice by holding mini-spelling bees at home, where their parents give them words to spell.
