(KGTV) — At least three people were killed and 18 other people were injured after a charter bus crashed and overturned on Interstate 15 Saturday.The bus was on southbound I-15 just south of State Route 76 before 10:30 a.m. The bus lost control for some reason, skidding into the dirt on the freeway's shoulder and overturning.Officers arrived to find the bus overturned with at least one passenger trapped inside still. Crews also needed to stabilize the bus to prevent it from falling down an embankment.At least three people were killed, according to North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD). One victim was found dead inside the bus, NCFPD Capt. John Choi told City News Service. Some passengers were ejected from the crash.Eighteen people were taken to Inland Valley Hospital, Palomar Medical Center, and Temecula for injuries ranging from minor to critical condition. UPDATE: The fire was 100 percent contained at 250 acres by Friday at 6:20 p.m. All lanes of SR-78 reopened by 5 p.m.RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Crews Thursday stopped the forward rate of spread of the Rangeland Fire burning in the Pasqual Valley near Ramona. The blaze started along San Pasqual Valley Road around 1 p.m. near the San Dieguito River Trail and quickly grew to 250 acres. The fire is 60 percent contained. The eastbound lanes on State Route 78 closed at Bandy Canyon Road due to the fire, but are expected to reopen by 10 p.m. The 78 will be down to one lane on Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.  Highland Valley Road was also closed between Bandy Canyon and Archie Moore Road due to a big rig that was stuck on the road.  803

Two people were killed and one "badly injured" in a knife attack Thursday morning in Trappes, a suburb west of Paris, according to France's National Police.The attacker was also killed, police said."After the attack, he ran into a house to hide. He left shortly afterward and threatened police before being neutralized," police said.Authorities have not yet given an indication of motive for the attack.
