Rattled by a string of explosions, which has put the city on edge for the last two weeks, a possible new explosion was reported Tuesday evening near a Goodwill store, the Austin Police Department said on its Twitter account. But after an hour of investigating, the police department said the explosion stemmed from an an incendiary device. The department said the incident was likely not connected to a previous string of explosions. One male said to be in his 30s was transported to the hospital. RAMONA (CNS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a crash today on the Barona Indian Reservation.A motorcycle was hit and ended up underneath a Ford sedan around 1:30 p.m. on Wildcat Canyon Road more than a mile south of Little Klondike Road, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. The area is about halfway between Barona Resort and Casino and the community of Ramona.Passersby stopped and were able to pull the motorcyclist out from underneath the car, but the biker succumbed to injuries suffered in the crash, the CHP said.The northbound lane of the road was shut down.Identifying information on the victim was not immediately available. 659

PUEBLO, Colo. -- A Colorado man made a historic leap with his most recent skydive.Tommy Fergeson of Pueblo made his 1,000th jump Saturday, exactly eight years after an accident cost him his left arm.He's now made 343 jumps with two arms and 657 with one.After losing the limb, the "One-armed Skydiver" didn't lose his love for the pursuit and found ways to overcome his obstacles."It's something that when I first started I never dreamed I would hit 1,000 skydives you know? It's taken some years. I'm fixing to turn 58, actually next month I turn 58 but I still love it and I am going to continue to do it, and I'm gonna be with my family and I just love skydiving. President Donald Trump sought to distance himself from the Justice Department official he just named as acting attorney general in the face of mounting criticism about the legality and propriety of his appointment."I don't know Matt Whitaker," Trump said of the new acting attorney general, saying he hired him because he had worked for since-dismissed Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "He was always extremely highly thought of, and he still is. But I didn't know Matt Whitaker.
