A ten-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert Monday has been found dead near her home. Kodie B. Dutcher was reported missing Monday afternoon, and a search of her home in Baraboo, Wisconsin found evidence that the girl threatened self-harm. The AMBER Alert message said Dutcher was suspected of taking "an unknown amount of pills and may be suicidal." The girl left behind her shoes and cell phone.Community members gathered to look for her Monday night and again Tuesday morning. No word at this time who found her body. Lt. Not because of a winning horse show, but because of a winning chase behind a fleeing racehorse.One of the best racehorses from the 4H at Andover Farms broke free from her halter and galloped down Aviation Blvd during a 20-minute pursuit in Glen Burnie, Maryland.Sixteen-year-old Caroline Shoults was getting ready for her next class in the show when she heard the announcement regarding the runaway horse. Without hesitation, Shoults took a leap of bravery to chase her down."I live by this life quote, 'do for others as you would want to be done for you' and it has got me into quite the situation," said Shoults. "And I tried to control myself and just stay focused, I was about to walk in the rain, and I spun around and took off through the horses in the showground." Followed by two adults who immediately jumped into a vehicle to control oncoming traffic, Shoults aimed to steer the horse into a parking lot or off to the side of the road during the pursuit."I was not about to watch this horse right in front of me get hit by a car, injured, die, anything of the above."The horse finally tired out after a 3-mile run and stopped when Caroline was able to get a line around her.This young girl's bravery runs deeper than just doing the right thing. She too rescued her own racehorse 'Tinkerbell' from a Kill Pen and transformed her from a horse with little to no hope to a stellar all-around racehorse. "People are thanking me so much for what I did, but in the end, I couldn't have done it without Tink."After all the chaos and a gut-wrenching adventure, Shoults was able to finish strong and take on Tink's first competition completing a fantastic run finishing third out of 19 horses in that class. 1839

A Sichuan Airlines co-pilot was sucked halfway out of an aircraft's cockpit when its windshield shattered during a flight, Chinese state media has reported.Captain Liu Chuanjian and his crew were praised for making an emergency landing after the incident, which occurred at 30,000 feet on an Airbus A319 flight from the Southern city of Chongqing to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet."The situation was very critical. The windshield was blown off at a 10,000-meter-high altitude. The aircraft was in a state of low pressure and a temperature was minus 30 to minus 40 degree celsius," Jiang Wenxue, a Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) official, was quoted as saying by state news agency Xinhua.The co-pilot almost got sucked out of the cockpit but kept calm, according to Chinese state television station CCTV."There was no sign before the windshield burst. Just a huge noise," Captain Liu was reported as saying by state news agency China News Service."When I looked at the other side, the co-pilot was partially blown out of the aircraft. Luckily, he had the belt buckled up. Many devices were malfunctioned and the plane was jolting strongly. It was very difficult to control," he added.The co-pilot suffered scratches and a sprained wrist, the CAA said, adding that a flight attendant was also injured. None of the plane's 119 passengers were injured and the aircraft safely landed at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport in southern China.However, passengers and crew described frightening scenes on board the plane during the incident."All people were shouting onboard. We just tried our best to reassure the passengers and make everyone believe us that we could touch down safely," Zhou Yanwen, the injured flight attendant, was quoted as saying by China News Service."It happened as the flight attendants were serving our meals. A pair of cousins has been charged in the murder of pizza delivery driver Clarence Taper in a Milwaukee apartment. According to the criminal complaint, Mekael Kennedy, 17, from Hartford and his cousin D’Andre Kennedy, 25, of Milwaukee robbed and shot the driver on Monday, Sept. 11 when he came to make a delivery. They then took the pizza Taper was delivering into the apartment and ate it.One of his regular customers, Sheryl Cash said Taper went out of his way to help the older residents who live there. "The man, Mr. Clarence, ever since I have been ordering from them he always delivered my food. He would stand there and talk with you. He was just real nice and kind. And he didn't have to come to your door, but he would come to your door,"  Cash said.Police said on September 15, Mekael Kennedy's girlfriend placed an order to Buddy's Pizza and Steak, where Taper delivered from. Mekael Kennedy took his cousin, D'Andre Kennedy's gun, put on a hockey mask and demanded Taper's money. Mekael Kennedy told police he had his safety on and didn't know why the gun went off. According to the criminal complaint, Mekael Kennedy told the police the driver lunged at him and he didn’t know why the gun went off because he thought the safety was on.But D'Andre Kennedy said his cousin shot Taper because he tried to take his mask off.When D'andre Kennedy found out, he cleaned the gun and threw the bullets away. Mekeal Kennedy also admitted to police that he robbed a Papa John's delivery driver earlier that same week but did not hurt him because he didn't fight back."It was senseless, it was just senseless," Cash said.Mekael is being charged as an adult and faces armed robbery and murder charges. If convicted he could face up to 95 years in prison. D’Andre was charged with harboring a felon and obstructing an officer and could face four years behind bars.  1938
