The storm is expected to gain strength and move northwest, toward the same islands pounded by Hurricane Dorian. Abaco Island and Grand Bahama Island are among the areas under the tropical storm warning. The two islands faced major devastation from Dorian. Also, Nassau is under a tropical storm warning. The National Hurricane Center expects the cyclone to become a tropical storm on Friday or Saturday. The storm then could strike Florida on Saturday as a tropical storm. Based on statements from two witnesses, the court finds that the defendants were not subject to a current or imminent criminal attack. Therefore, they were not in a situation where they were entitled to use violence in self-defense.
