The boy’s parent’s called police to report him missing around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police could be seen in San Diego's Skyline neighborhood searching for the boy. Police say the boy usually walks home from school. According to police, the 9-year-old was found at a McDonald's. 405

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — About an hour east of San Diego is a town with few people and a lot of history."In 1880 you'd be getting run over by wagons sitting right here in this little route," Larry Johnson, president of the Mountain Empire Historical Society, says standing on a road in Campo. "I initially came here in 1956."And like many others they come here for a reason.Robert Marks, who owns East County Lumber & Ranch Supply, learned Campo was for sale last week. "We found out the owner was selling all 3 parcels, maybe he won it in a card game!" Marks jokes.While we can't verify that, the current owner of Campo is a Las Vegas investor. He's looking to sell but hasn't named a price.The sale encompasses 28 residential units and seven commercial properties. About 100 to 150 people live in the listing area and about 3,000 are scattered across the whole town. Listing agent Conor Brennan with Marcus & Millichap says interested parties include rehabbers, developers, horse breeders, and movie producers."My reaction is if he sells it I hope we get someone who wants to put something in this community," Marks says."Personally I don't want big housing developments, I'm not for that," Johnson adds.But it wasn't too long ago the town was looking for another buyer in 1999. Since then, things have largely remained the same."We like it country, we like to have a few new people join us and keep population increasing a little," Johnson says.But residents of Campo want potential buyers to know this is: "It's awesome. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two community boards that review police practices will hold emergency meetings Wednesday and Thursday regarding the San Diego Police Department's de-escalation-of-force policies.The city's Citizens Advisory Board on Police/Community Relations will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Thursday evening meeting of the Community Review Board on Police Practices, both of which can be viewed on the city's website and YouTube page.San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer said the goal of both meetings is to "take a serious look at de-escalation recommendations that could be implemented by our department" and "increasing and facilitating further dialogue and understanding between our officers, our men and women who are out there protecting us, and the community."Faulconer said public input is welcome regarding what SDPD policies should be updated or changed."Many are crying out to be heard. We are listening," Faulconer said. "Your city is listening. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A 36-year-old Filipino man was arrested soon after police say he shot a woman twice in the back as she sat in her car outside a Bay Terraces apartment complex.San Diego Police say Emmanuel Ocular walked up to the 20-year-old woman as she was in her car in the 6800 block of Doriana St. at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Without warning, Ocular shot the woman twice in the back and fled the scene, police say.The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries.Soon after, police located Ocular in the 4800 block of Eastgate Mall and arrested him.Police did not immediately have a motive for the shooting. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 55-year-old homeless man who was attacked with a skateboard while sleeping in North Park has died, San Diego Police said.Arthur Angulo was sleeping in alley in the 2800 block of El Cajon Boulevard  at around 4:30 a.m. Saturday when a man bashed him repeatedly with a skateboard, according to police.  Angulo suffered ``visible signs of major trauma to his upper body,'' San Diego police homicide Lt. Todd Griffin said.``The attack was unprovoked," officer Tony Martinez said over the weekend.RELATED: Sleeping homeless man attacked in North ParkAngulo was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where medical staff determined he would not survive and placed him on life support, Griffin said.He was removed from life support Thursday "and died in the hospital as the result of his injuries,'" Griffin said.Police said the attacker is white, about six feet tall, and between 19 and 26 years old.
