CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) - About 100 people came to worship at Glorietta Bay Park in Coronado on Friday.The 'Saturate OC' event was held by a Southern California congregation. They hold worship services and baptisms along beaches and waterfronts.It is the second 'Saturate OC' event in San Diego County in back to back weeks."It would be hard to understand if you're not a believer, but we prayed about it, and thought this was the next place we were supposed to come," said Parker Green, co-director for 'Saturate OC.'They held a worship service in Oceanside on Aug. 28, which drew hundreds of people. There were people seen not wearing face coverings or social distancing at that event.Green says they have face coverings at the event to people who want them. They also provide hand sanitizer. He also added he doesn't know of one person that got sick from their events."People can wear masks or not, we tell them to bring masks on our social media, but I think the crowd we tend to draw would be folks that would wear a mask in a public setting, especially outside," he said.People at the Coronado worship service appeared to be more spaced apart than those in the Oceanside event.Members of the county's Safe Reopen Compliance Team were at the event talking to people. CLEVELAND — A Cleveland school security guard who was charged with rape, accused of soliciting and sexually assaulting multiple students, was reported for inappropriate behavior to Cleveland Metropolitan School District months before he was arrested. Derrick Dugger, 29, a security guard at East Technical High School in Cleveland is due back in court Tuesday morning for the charges. According to court records, investigators said he forced a 15-year-old girl to perform oral sex and sent inappropriate messages to students. A detective wrote in the report that Dugger was “predatory” and “a danger to these young ladies.”Dugger was formally charged with rape last week after an investigation began earlier in November, but one Cleveland family told Scripps affiliate WEWS-TV that they reported him months before.According to Joyce Swann, her 15-year-old daughter who has special needs made a complaint about Dugger soon after the school year began at East Technical High School.A CMSD report of that complaint obtained by WEWS is dated September 7 — more than 2 months before Dugger was charged.In the report, Swann’s daughter told the dean that at first, the guard asked her if she had a boyfriend and asked to check her phone. The next day, he greeted her by saying, “Good morning baby.”After that, the student reported, the guard told her he “liked the way she twerked that a**” on Instagram.The student said she felt uncomfortable and reported it to the dean, who called her mother and told her they would take a report and investigate.But Swann said she never heard an update until the day Dugger was charged.“Who would say that to a little kid? You’re supposed to be making sure these kids are safe and you’re preying on them,” Swann said.She said she is terrified of what could have happened had her daughter not reported it — and angry that the school didn’t do more initially.“My daughter is a special needs child. CLEVELAND — Two residents in Cleveland's West 58th Street neighborhood suffered significant injuries while protecting neighborhood children from an Oct. 7 pit bull attack.Becky Barker and Jay Anderson responded after hearing the screams of children who were being chased by three pit bulls they said were part of a one-hour rampage in their neighborhood.Barker told WEWS the pit bulls had children trapped on top of a car that was parked in front of her home, and when she stepped out to help, the pit bulls bit her multiple times in three areas of her body."They could have killed me, they really could have, if they would kept ripping me open like they did," Barker said."The children were screaming, and the dogs are just like clawing up this ladies car to get at these kids," she said.Jay Anderson also suffered several dog bites on the backs of his legs and back.Anderson said he tried to use a screwdriver to fend-off the attacking dogs, but one of the dogs was able to disarm him."Just terrible, it was a horrible thing, kind of scary," Anderson said."So I turned around and looked at the dog that took my screwdriver, and a second one started attacking me" he said.Cleveland EMS, the fire department and the Cleveland dog warden responded to the scene.Residents told WEWS the owner of the dogs was cited and one of the pit bulls was confiscated.According to city law, the owner could be fined up to ,000, but Barker believes the irresponsible owner should face even tougher penalties."It isn't the breed of the animal, it's the owners of these animals that have them," Barker said."The owner of these dogs they should be held accountable, and really pay for what they did," she said.WEWS contacted the City of Cleveland about the case, but it said it couldn't comment on an ongoing investigation. 1854

The outspoken radio personality rose to local fame in the 1970s and 1980s and was the host of the "Prize Movie" on WUAB.
