Several Hilltown, Pennsylvania, police officers helped save a distressed horse from a burning barn last week, which was captured by an officer’s body-worn camera.Officer Matthew Reiss told KYW-TV that he did not have much time to get Phoebe the horse out of the barn."Quickly improvise, and come up with a solution to get that animal out,” Reiss said.Other horses were in the barn at the time of the fire and were rescued by friends and family, but Phoebe was reportedly too spooked to follow.That’s when the officers and horse trainer Lena Obernesser teamed to get Phoebe out. Obernesser used a shirt to cover her eyes and push the horse to safety as Reiss used a rope to pull Phoebe to safety. Phoebe then ran to safety."She was definitely terrified, the cops were fantastic though, they jumped right in,” Obernesser told KYW. “I saw the footage and I was just in awe. Like oh my God, thank God they were here."Obernesser credited the officers for rescuing Phoebe.“They really stepped up, we had so many people reaching out,” she said. “it was, I was so proud to be a part of this community."After a week, Phoebe is reportedly in good health. SPRING VALLEY (CNS) - A 48-year-old man who went missing during an outing near Sweetwater Reservoir two weeks ago has been found dead, authorities reported Friday.A search-and-rescue team came across the body of Edward Leonard in a remote spot near the Spring Valley-area manmade lake on Thursday morning, according to San Diego County Sheriff's Department.There was no immediate evidence of criminal involvement in Leonard's death, authorities said.Leonard had been missing since July 2, when a friend dropped him off at the reservoir to go fishing, officials said. (KGTV) - Surveillance video captured intruders surprised by an alarm during a burglary in Spring Valley Wednesday night.The break-in unfolded in Eva Bradley's home off Paradise Valley Road while she was at work. "I'm sad, upset and angry." said Bradley.Just before 11 p.m., a guest bedroom window was forced open. A surveillance camera was rolling in the bedroom of Bradley's 8-year-old son, who was not home. "Scary, scary. Just glad we weren't home. Such as violation," said Bradley.In the video, a person is seen shining a flashlight in the dark. He leaves and another intruder, wearing a hoodie, enter the room and opens a drawer. Moments later, the camera is struck and falls over. Soon after in the living room, the burglar with the flashlight - now toting a bag - is sneaking through the room before he triggers the motion sensor and the alarm. He and another figure then run out of the room.The break-in was cut short, but the thieves made off with iPads and jewelry, including a gold and diamond-shaped ruby ring which Bradley's grandmother wore every day before she died."I didn't get a chance to say goodbye before she passed away ...
