WASHINGTON (AP) — A Trump health appointee who is accused of trying to muzzle an important scientific publication in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic apologized Tuesday for a separate video in which he reportedly says scientists battling the virus are conspiring against President Donald Trump and warns of shooting in America if Trump loses the election.Michael Caputo, the top spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services, apologized to his staff for the Facebook video, said an administration official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters.Caputo says on a taxpayer-funded podcast that Democrats don't want a coronavirus vaccine until after the election to punish President Donald Trump. VISTA, Calif. -- Firefighters are investigating what caused a large building to catch fire in Vista Monday morning.The fire broke out around 11:20 a.m. near Emerald Drive in Vista. When firefighters arrived, the building, believed to be a large shed, was completely engulfed in flames.Authorities say it took 24 firefighters from Vista, Oceanside and Carlsbad less than 30 minutes to extinguish the flames.Due to the smoke, nearby Grapevine Elementary School kept students inside classrooms so they wouldn’t be exposed to the smoke.Firefighters say they have yet to determine what caused the fire but added that no one was injured.Video captured by Ricardo Gutierrez shows intense flames tearing through the building. 725

(CNS) - A 45-year-old apparently homeless man suspected of arson was arrested after allegedly setting a car on fire in Vista.Deputies responded to a report of a car fire in the 1200 block of East Vista Way, near East Bobier Drive, about 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to Lt. Nancy Blanco of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department."On their way to the scene, a witness reported seeing a man, who appeared to be homeless, walk by the car, break a window and start the fire," Blanco said.Deputies located Jose Garcia, matching the suspect's description, who allegedly had a lighter in one hand and a pipe to smoke illegal drugs in another, according to Blanco.Garcia was arrested after a witness identified him in a curbside lineup, Blanco said. He was booked at the Vista Detention Facility for arson and possession of illegal drugs. 852
