She died two weeks later, according to CNN.Researchers believe the second infection was different and not prolonged symptoms of the first infection. A Buckeye, Arizona man on active duty with the United States Air Force was booked into jail this week on second-degree murder charges after the death of his infant. On June 13, 2017, Phoenix Police responded to a report of a 3-month-old boy who was pronounced dead at Phoenix Children's Hospital. According to police paperwork, 25-year-old John Centano, the child's father, said he was home alone with the baby for about 20 minutes before he found him unresponsive on the master bed. He said it was about a minute or two after he left the child alone, face-down on the bed, to quickly grab shower items from the hallway bathroom. According to staff at the emergency room, Centano reportedly said he took a shower and returned to find the child unresponsive. An autopsy was performed on the child and his death was ruled a homicide due to complications with head trauma and other internal injuries. Investigators found evidence at the home suggesting that no shower items were retrieved from the hallway bathroom. Police say Centano made several inconsistent statements, including blaming their large dogs for the child's injuries. Centano was arrested on Tuesday and booked into jail on felony counts of second-degree murder and child abuse. Police documents show that Centano was employed with the United States Air Force on active duty.  1422

A former DACA recipient who had previously claimed he was wrongly deported was arrested on Monday night after attempting to illegally enter the US from Mexico, according to US Customs and Border Protection.Juan Manuel Montes Bojorquez, 23, was seen by Remote Video Surveillance Systems operators crossing the border a few miles east of Calexico, California, according to Border Patrol. The agency said he ran about 200 yards north of the border fence, laid down on the ground, and then stood up and ran again as agents approached him.He was arrested and booked into the Imperial County Jail on pending charges of re-entry after removal, Customs and Border Protection said.He was arrested under the same charge in February, CBP said, which was when Montes claimed he had been wrongfully deported."Our agents witnessed and arrested Mr. Bojorquez making an illegal entry into the United States for the second time this year," said Assistant Chief Patrol Agent David S. Kim. "Border Patrol Agents will always stop, detain, and arrest anyone making an illegal entry into the country irrespective of their immigration or citizenship status."Montes' earlier lawsuit had been a flashpoint in the Trump administration's policies toward the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA.
