President Donald Trump described Oprah Winfrey as "very insecure" and accused her of "biased and slanted" after an interview on CBS's "60 Minutes" that addressed his presidency.Oprah hosted a group discussion with 14 voters who had appeared on the show in fall 2017 -- half who had voted for Trump and half who had not.The discussion looked at whether the the pro-Trump panelists still backed the President, his alleged "s***hole countries" comments, the worldview of the US under his leadership, questions around Trump's stability and fitness for office, and accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior.""Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!" Trump tweeted after the show was broadcast. Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. President Donald Trump returned to the Oval Office on Wednesday for the first time in five days following his three-day stay in Walter Reed Medical Center. Trump was released from the hospital on Monday. On Wednesday, Trump released a video statement on Twitter to reassure Americans he is feeling well. Despite complications from the coronavirus late last week, which included a high fever and low oxygen levels, the president said that his coronavirus infection was a “blessing from God.”While the president may still be contagious from the virus, there are questions on when the president first tested positive for the virus, and when his last negative test was. Knowing when the president first contracted the virus is important as those with the virus are still considered contagious 10 days after the onset of the virus, according to the CDC.“I wasn’t feeling so hot,” Trump said. “And within a very short period of time, they gave me Regneron… It was like unbelievable.”The Regeneron treatment is formally known as "REGN-COV2," and is an experimental drug that has only been trialed on 275 patients before the president’s infection. The treatment is a combination of two monoclonal and was designed specifically to block infectivity of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, the company said. REGN-COV2 is still early in its trial process to test for efficacy and side effects. “I want everyone to get the same treatment as your president, because I feel great,” Trump said. “I feel like perfect. I think this was a blessing from God that I got it.”Trump went on to blame China for the spread of the virus, and said he wanted to make treatments free to Americans. 1682

President Donald Trump on Thursday morning accepted the appreciation of three UCLA basketball players accused of shoplifting in China, offering some fatherly advice while also thanking his Chinese counterpart."To the three UCLA basketball players I say: You're welcome, go out and give a big Thank You to President Xi Jinping of China who made your release possible and, HAVE A GREAT LIFE! Be careful, there are many pitfalls on the long and winding road of life!" he said in a series of tweets.Trump earlier had sought the gratitude of the three basketball players -- Cody Riley, LiAngelo Ball and Jalen Hill -- who were arrested last week on suspicion of stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store while their team was in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. The President had said he personally asked Xi to intervene in the case. 837

President Donald Trump on Wednesday offered a non-committal response to North Korean threats to cancel his planned summit with Kim Jong Un, saying he hadn't received any information that would put the talks in jeopardy."We haven't been notified at all, we'll have to see," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, where he was meeting his Uzbek counterpart. "We haven't seen anything, we haven't heard anything. We will see what happens."But pressed whether he would still insist upon North Korea's denuclearization as a condition for the talks, Trump nodded yes. 571
