A bomb threat caused the evacuation of parts of Facebook's headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif. on Tuesday, prompting a large police response. The evacuation came around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Police later gave the all clear.According to KGO-TV, a tip was received by Crime Stoppers in New York, and relayed to authorities in California. The phone call was anonymous and no other details were shared. Many of Facebook's 33,606 employees work out of the company's Menlo Park headquarters. An FBI spokesperson told CNN that a few buildings were evacuated, but all staff members are safe and were allowed to return to the buildings. 661

It basically is a little strap, that can snap on to any mask. It's great for back to school!"The contraption was invented a little over a month ago and is already on the market. A fraternity headed to trial Monday for the hazing death of a pledge in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.Attorneys gave their opening statements in Monroe County in the trial of Pi Delta Psi fraternity. It's the actual Greek organization on trial for third-degree murder, not the members themselves.The Pi Delta Psi organization is on trial for the hazing death of Chun "Michael" Deng.The 18-year-old student at Baruch College in New York was killed during a hazing ritual at a home that members of the fraternity had rented in Coolbaugh Township back in 2013.Authorities charged 37 members of the fraternity in the incident.Four pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and are expected to be sentenced next month.In court Monday, the prosecution recounted what happened to Chun "Michael" Deng back in December of 2013. A family in Tennessee was able to escape their burning house thanks to their neighbor's rescue dog.The home in the Franklin, Tennessee neighborhood of Twin Oaks was seriously damaged in a fire caused by fireworks, officials say.Neighbor Jess LeCates said his 3-year-old Belgian malinois Roux was barking frantically at his front door around 10:20 p.m., about an hour after the homeowner threw fireworks near a trashcan outside, sparking the fire.Roux noticed the fire and led LeCates to the home where the roof and garage were already on fire. LeCates said he started banging on his neighbor's door to wake up the family of three and get them out of the house."I tried to put out the fire while the lady who lived there called 911," LeCates said.Thanks to Roux, everyone inside the home, including their pets, were able to escape unharmed.The Fire Marshal said the fire burned through some exterior features and much of the attic, causing an estimated ,000 in damage.Consumer fireworks are prohibited in Franklin.WTVF first reported this story. 1055
