Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested 115 San Diego and Imperial County, California residents in a three-day sting targeting federal immigration law violators, officials said Friday.Among the group were 50 convicted criminals and seven people who re-entered the United States after being deported. All but seven of the arrests took place in San Diego County, according to ICE.Those arrested include a Center Street Locos Gang member in Oceanside who had been deported four previous times. He had multiple criminal convictions including grand theft, controlled substance for sale, and driving under the influence.A Kazakhstan citizen wanted by authorities in that country on charges of tax evasion and embezzlement was taken into custody in Oceanside. Interpol had issued a ‘Red Notice’ arrest warrant for him in November.Another high-profile arrest included a Mexican citizen who had served a federal prison term in 2009 after being convicted of illegal re-entry after deportation.  Officials said he had three criminal convictions for spousal abuse and had previously been removed from the U.S. to Mexico on ten prior occasions.  RELATED: ICE arrests 150 in Northern California, blasts Oakland mayor over warningAn immigrant who illegally reenters the United States after having been previously removed faces a felony prison term of up to 20 years, according to ICE. Four of the people arrested in the sting will face federal criminal prosecution for illegal re-entry after deportation. Those who are not facing federal charges may be immediately removed from the United States.“This week’s operation targeted public safety threats, such as convicted criminal aliens, individuals with final orders of removal, those who illegally re-entered the country after being removed, and individuals who have otherwise violated our nation’s immigration law,” said Greg Archambeault, field office director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in San Diego. The three-day sting comes after a report in the Los Angeles Times indicating more immigrants with no criminal history were arrested by San Diego's Immigration and Customs Enforcement from October to December 2017 than anywhere else in the country. If you knew the world was about to end, where would you go? I'm guessing, Kansas isn't the answer. But, it probably should be.Down a long dirt road in the middle of Glasco, Kansas there is a bunker that can withstand a nuclear bomb, earthquake, tornado, terrorist attack and even a pandemic. It's called Survival Condo. In the late 1960's it was a missile silo, but as modern technology quickly progressed, the old silo was forgotten about. However, 10 years ago Larry Hall purchased the bunker. He decided to build a luxury survival complex for the wealthy if Armageddon were ever to happen. The bunker sits 201 feet below ground. It takes less than 30 seconds to go from the top floor to the bottom. Each condominium cost three million dollars. The complex is self-sustaining and includes plenty of amenities. It has an indoor pool, dog park, spa, gym, cinema, grocery store, a hospital and a hydroponics room; which allows them to be self-sustaining. Survival Condo is also self-sustaining when it comes to power. They have batteries that last for 15 years, wind turbines, and two generators to keep the entire complex up and running. Larry Hall says, even if the world never comes to an end, residents who own a Survival Condo can still use the underground bunker as a vacation destination. 1322

People start work earlier and wrap up later.A separate report by LinkedIn found more than a quarter of people are checking in on work during off-work hours.However, this isn't necessarily leading us to be more productive. Often, we're working longer days because we're getting distracted while we're at home.“Everything's getting pretty mushy, so what that looks like is Netflix might be happening at 2 o’clock in the afternoon or you might be doing laundry at 11, instead of being fully focused on your work during the day, and I do think that is creating working longer hours,” said Elizabeth Grace Saunders, a time management coach.Saunders says there are additional distractions now.For instance, if you're a parent, your child may be learning from home. Sometimes you need to step in to help them, which can take time away from your work. That's completely okay, as long as we're still managing our time efficiently.Another thing that's changed is we may not necessarily have something to look forward to after work.Happy hours and going to the movie theater with a friend aren't really happening, so we may feel less motivated to work throughout the day.These longer work hours are giving us less of a chance to recharge for the next day, so it's important that we draw the line between work life and home life.Saunders says to pick a time where you only work... And don't do things like personal chores or take long breaks.“Those work hours are times when I’m devoted to work, and I’m really focused, and I’m not getting other things. That gives you the freedom and flexibility to feel like, I got work done today, I got done what I needed to get done and I need to do something refreshing or recharging at night.”We can still create things to look forward to after work, like having a time where we call friends and family, or plan to do something else you enjoy like crafting. 2204
