FALLBROOK (CNS) - A 28-year-old man was busted in Fallbrook for agreeing to purchase alcohol for a minor, authorities said Saturday.The man was arrested Friday night in a so-called "Shoulder Tap" operation and was the only one out of 20 adults asked by a minor decoy working with deputies who agreed to purchase alcohol for the teenager, according to Sgt. Nancy Blanco of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.The suspect was arrested on suspicion of furnishing alcohol to a minor, which is a misdemeanor, she said.Two men, ages 24 and 25, who were with the suspect were also taken into custody for parole and probation violations, Blanco said.The minors also tried to purchase alcohol from retailers at five separate locations, but none of the locations sold alcohol to the decoy, she said. 803

European scientists say they have caught a rare fish they describe as a "living fossil."According to the BBC, scientists for the European Union's Institute for Sea and Atmosphere captured a 5-foot long frilled shark in the waters off the coast of southern Portugal.Frilled sharks are rarely seen by humans, and typically live thousands of feet below the ocean's surface. This particular shark was caught at a depth of 2,300 feet.According to Fox News, there have only been three recorded sightings of frilled sharks in the past 10 years. Excedrin's manufacturer has recalled more than 433,000 bottles of the painkillers due to bottles having holes on the bottom of them.GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) issued the recall Wednesday stating that the bottles aren't in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act since there are holes in the bottom.GSK says this could potentially lead to children gaining access and swallowing the over-the-counter drug, posing a risk of poisoning.The recall involves 50, 80, 100, 125, 200, 250, and 300-count bottles of Excedrin Migraine Caplets, Excedrin Migraine Geltabs, Excedrin Extra Strength Caplets, Excedrin PM Headache Caplets, and Excedrin Tension Headache Caplets.
