Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the death of a man found injured at the Great Frederick Fair in Maryland.The Frederick County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an assault Friday near the midway area of the fairgrounds and found the 59-year-old victim unconscious, a news release from the agency said.The man was flown to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for further treatment; he died Saturday, the release said. He was identified on Monday as John Marvin Weed, of Mount Airy, Maryland.Witnesses told investigators the man was the victim of an unprovoked attack, and two juvenile suspects were identified and located by deputies, the sheriff's office said.No weapons were used in the attack, the news release said.The teens, a 15-year-old male and a 16-year old male, are in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Services awaiting a hearing.They have both been charged, with the 15-year-old facing charges of reckless endangerment and first- and second-degree assault. The 16-year-old was charged with one count of second-degree assault, the news release said.The sheriff's office said it is working with prosecutors on possible additional charges.The victim's body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy and the sheriff's office is consulting with the state attorney's office to determine whether the teens will face additional charges, the sheriff's office said.Neither the teens nor the victim have been publicly identified. 1519

WACO, Texas — A Houston boy who went missing in 2017 was found in Florida on Saturday with his father, who did not have custody of the child.The Sanford Police Department in Florida said Kenneth Graham, the boy’s father, left Texas with Joshua Graham at the end of 2017 without notifying his wife. It was believed he was taking the boy to Tallahassee, Florida, where Kenneth Graham previously lived. Tallahassee is about four hours away from Sanford, where the boy was found. Police in Florida said they were notified by Houston detectives on Friday that Joshua, now 9 years old, was in Sanford.The following morning, police found the boy and his father in a car at Fort Mellon Park. Police said the child was in good health.Joshua’s mother was granted sole custody of the boy in February 2018. Law enforcement in Houston filed Joshua as missing and “abducted by non-custodial parent” on March 26, 2019.“Regardless of the circumstances, the feelings of loss and devastation are indescribable when any child is taken from a parent,” said Sanford Police Chief Cecil Smith. “The officers and investigators involved in this case are delighted to have played a significant role in reuniting this mother with her child after two long years. I am proud that the officers responding to this call quickly identified that something didn’t seem right, and those instincts led to this happy conclusion.”Joshua was taken into Child Protective Services custody while he waits to be reunited with his mother. WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to continue enforcing a policy that makes asylum-seekers wait in Mexico for U.S. court hearings, despite lower court rulings that the policy probably is illegal. The justices' order comes Wednesday over a dissenting vote by Justice Sonia Sotomayor. It overturns a lower court order that would have blocked the policy, at least for people arriving at the border crossings in Arizona and California. The high court action comes a day before the lower court order was to have taken effect. Instead, the “Remain in Mexico" policy will stay in place while a lawsuit challenging it plays out in the courts. 685
