Edson Acuna was given a term of life without the possibility of parole plus 25 years to life plus 27 years and four months. On Monday, Brandon Acuna was sentenced to 13 years in prison.Prosecutors argued that they burglarized a car outside of a Mount Hope home which led to a shootout with the homeowner. They tried to get away but a blown-out tire caused them to stall on the freeway. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – More drive-in entertainment is coming to Escondido’s Westfield North County mall as summer comes to a close.In August, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (CCAE) hosted several drive-in live concerts at the former Nordstrom parking lot at the mall on 272 E Via Rancho Parkway.From September through November, the same mall parking lot will be the site for weekly drive-in movie screenings. Spaces for more than 250 vehicles will be made available and spaced apart to keep moviegoers safely distanced.Doors for the screenings will open at 6:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis.
