SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A fast-moving fire broke out in the mountains near Santa Barbara late Monday afternoon. According to KEYT, the blaze, named the Cave Fire, sparked around 4:15 p.m. along Highway 154 and East Camino Cielo. By 5 p.m., the fire had burned 15 acres. That number quickly grew to 2,500 acres by 7:54 p.m., The Tribune reports. SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) — Several migrants were saved from a flooded San Ysidro storm drain in two separate rescues.The first rescue took place just before 11 p.m. Thursday. Border Patrol agents say they found three people trying to illegally enter the U.S. near a drainage tube about two miles west of the San Ysidro Port of Entry. The three people told agents that others were still inside the drain as heavy rainfall began to flood the tube.With the help of San Diego Fire-Rescue, one woman was quickly pulled to safety from the drainage tube before crews saved 13 more people through a manhole leading into the drain.RELATED: Teen found hiding in car dashboard at Calexico West Port of EntrySeven of those 17 people were taken to a nearby hospital.Then at about 1:15 a.m. Friday, border agents reported more migrants were possibly trapped in the same drain. (KGTV) -- A man was arrested over the weekend after a sideshow on the San Francisco Bay Bridge created miles of traffic.In video posted on social media, three cars are seen doing donuts in the middle of the bridge around 10:45 a.m. Sunday.One of the drivers, Gabriel Mora, 21, crashed his white mustang convertible, giving California Highway Patrol to make the arrest.Hours later, several other cars were caught on video burning rubber in the parking lot of pier 30 just south of the bridge.Residents who live in the area say they often call police about the car shows, but say they usually happen late at night. Those crossing the border say the caravan is fenced off in two sections.
