He says that the return of wolves to the state is an important development for conservation efforts.Wolves are protected under California's Endangered Species Act even as the federal Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed to delist grey wolves as an endangered species.In 2011, a grey wolf with a radio collar named OR-7 crossed the California border from Oregon and became the first wolf in the state since 1924. 791

(KGTV) - Months after the massive Equifax data breach, a North County couple got some heart-dropping news from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).    Jennifer, who asked 10News not to identify her full name, says her accountant was just about to e-file her taxes when she got the letter from the IRS."It said we needed to verify that we filed, and if we had not filed, we had to call them immediately to tell them we hadn't filed," said Jennifer.RELATED: Equifax finds additional 2.4 million impacted by 2017 breachIn short, someone had already filed in her name, raising the suspicions of IRS employees.    "You feel violated. Sayfullo Saipov has been charged with federal terrorism offenses in connection with Tuesday's attack in Manhattan in which eight people were killed, according to a charging document from the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.Saipov, a 29-year-old Uzbek national who was living in New Jersey, is being charged with providing material support to ISIS and violence and destruction of motor vehicles.[Previous story, published at 5:13 p.m. ET]The suspect in New York's deadliest terror attack since 9/11 had planned the attack for weeks and carried out the killings "in the name of ISIS," John Miller, NYPD deputy commissioner for intelligence and counterterrorism, said on Wednesday.Authorities identified the suspect as Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, a 29-year-old Uzbekistan native who came to the US legally in 2010. Saipov crashed the rented truck into a school bus, left the vehicle brandishing imitation firearms and was shot by police, officials said.
