Three men have been punished after they allegedly put whole chickens into a thermal feature in Yellowstone National Park.It happened on August 7, 2020.Eric K. Romriell of Idaho was found guilty of violating 36 CFR 7.13(j) Foot travel in thermal area, and 36 CFR 1.5(f) Food in thermal area. He was ordered to pay ,250 in fines and fees, banned from entering Yellowstone National Park for two years, and placed on unsupervised probation for two years.Eric D. Roberts and Dallas C. Keep children close and do not let them run on boardwalks.Do not touch thermal features or runoff.Swimming or soaking in hot springs is prohibited. More than 20 people have died from burns suffered after they entered or fell into Yellowstone’s hot springs.Pets are prohibited in thermal areas.Do not throw objects into hot springs or other hydrothermal features.Toxic gases may accumulate to dangerous levels in some hydrothermal areas. Thousands of people are expected to pay their respects at the Supreme Court to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the women’s rights champion, leader of the court’s liberal bloc and feminist icon who died last week.Even with the court closed to the public because of the coronavirus pandemic and Washington already consumed with talk of Ginsburg’s replacement, the justice’s former colleagues, family, close friends and the public will have the chance Wednesday and Thursday to pass by the casket of the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court.The sad occasion is expected to bring together the remaining eight justices for the first time since the building was closed in March and they resorted to meetings by telephone.Ginsburg will lie in repose for two days at the court where she served for 27 years and, before that, argued six cases for gender equality in the 1970s.Following a private ceremony Wednesday in the court’s Great Hall, her casket will be moved outside the building to the top of the court’s front steps so that public mourners can pay their respects in line with public health guidance for the pandemic.Since her death Friday evening, people have been leaving flowers, notes, placards and all manner of Ginsburg paraphernalia outside the court in tribute to the woman who became known in her final years as the “Notorious RBG.” Court workers cleared away the items and cleaned the court plaza and sidewalk in advance of Wednesday’s ceremony.Following past practice at the tradition-laden court, Ginsburg’s casket is expected to arrive just before 9:30 a.m. EDT Wednesday, the court said. The mother of a 5-year-old boy who was allegedly murdered by his father has now also been arrested on a charge of child neglect. According to an affidavit, she was also at the home when the boy was killed. Joseph Ray Daniels was arrested and charged with one count of criminal homicide in the disappearance of his son, Joe Clyde. Court records revealed that the elder Daniels allegedly beat the young boy to death before disposing his body in a rural location.   Officials announced Monday night that Joe Clyde’s mother, 27-year-old Krystal Daniels, was also arrested.According to an affidavit, Krystal Daniels was home at the time her husband allegedly murdered their child, Joe Clyde and knew he disposed of the body.She “failed to report the abuse and resulting homicide” of the boy, the affidavit added. Krystal Daniels also allegedly "failed to report injuries, abuse and/or homicide, despite multiple opportunities."She’s scheduled to appear in court on Monday. 1030
